We are looking for a SRE for our client - an international privately owned company specialising in high frequency trading (HFT), headquartered in the Netherlands and with offices in Amsterdam, Limassol, and Singapore, and growing by leaps and bounds.

The main role will be to manage remote brokers and server equipment worldwide (10 locations, 500+ bare-metal servers).

This is a full-time hybrid position, offices are located in Moscow and Limassol, Cyprus

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:
Experience in deploying, configuring and administering Linux based servers;
Good knowledge of Linux and network basics - protocols, services etc;
Really strong experience with bare-metal infrastructure, good level of hardware-related experience;
Working experience with remote Git repositories with various git flows;
Ability to work with configuration management systems (Ansible, Salt, other);
Know monitoring system (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana);
Basic Python/Go skills and bash skills;
for trading: experience with various VPN protocols (ovpn, WG, ipsec and any other)
for trading: experience in hardware tuning and overclocking is a plus
for infra: experience with KVM, with Docker
for infra: knowledge about basic k8s concepts.

Would be great if you had this:
Know the major lines of server hardware from leading vendors;
Working experience with remote Git repositories;
Experience in providing technical support for cloud services.


What we are expecting from you:
Developing internal components/structures
Being responsible for the data center where servers are hosted (total number of about 500) and our services + some of the services located outside our Cyprus
With us you can try to work with various exotic networks (radio relay, shortwave), atomic clocks, assemble your own GPU cluster, tuning and overclocking servers, etc.

Основная задача: Много k8s кластеров, под разные задачи. Надо их развивать, масштабировать, прикручивать новые фичи.

Обновлять и расширять функциональность существующих Kubernetes операторов (таких как device manager, gpu operator и network operator), а также разрабатывать новые.

Требования:

Опыт разработки на языке Go не менее 3-х лет.

Знания и опыт в создании операторов для Kubernetes.

Требования:
- Уверенный уровень устного и письменного английского обязателен
- Великолепные коммуникативные навыки, позволяющие эффективно выражать свои мысли.
- 3+ года опыта администрирования Kubernetes кластеров
- 3+ года опыта конфигурирования и тюнинга платформ метрик (предпочтительно Promethues, возможно Datadog/Splunk/NewRelic/CloudWatch)
- Практические знания инструментов управления конфигурацией и развертывания, таких как Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform и т. д.
- Очень хорошее знания Linux
- Хорошее понимание очередей сообщений (желательно RabbitMQ, можно другие: ActiveMQ, Kafka, SNS, SQS)
- Опыт использования Elasticsearch (ELK стэк)
- Хорошее понимание концепций сетевого взаимодействия
- Базовое знание как минимум одного языка программирования (предпочтительно Python либо GoLang, можно другие)

Обязанности:
- Управлять инфраструктурой необходимой для функционирования приложения в публичном или закрытом облаке (air-gapped)
- Развертывать обновления и патчи
- Обеспечивать мониторинг загруженности системы на проде, обсуждать с разработчиками и бизнесом необходимые метрики и создавать алерты
- Реагировать на даунтайм быстро и эффективно, согласно протоколам
- Участвовать в обсужении новых фичей с точки зрения эксплуатации, создавать требования совместо с разработчиками
- Анализировать пропускную способность сервисов, определять узкие места и давать рекомендации по улучшению с точки зрения эксплуатации
- Проводить исследования новых технологий и подходов, деплоить тестовые системы и продавать идею внедрения команде
- Участвовать в улучшении базы знаний проекта
- Быть ответственным за продакшен эксплуатацию системы от первоначальной установки до развертывания обновлений и патчей
- Взаимодействовать и ассистировать нужды разработчиков по базовому траблшутингу
- Периодически взаимодействовать с техническими командами заказчиков и помогать им достигать бизнес цели

Сейчас команда ищет SRE-инженера/ Devops’а/ Системного администратора в отдел эксплуатации для настройки окружений, поддержки стабильной работы продуктов по SLA и сопровождения CI/CD процессов.

Тебе предстоит:

Проектировать, развертывать и сопровождать масштабируемую облачную платформу на базе IaaS и PaaS;

Создавать тестовые стенды и исследовать возможности интеграции новых технологий в текущую инфраструктуру;

Диагностировать и устранять сбои, выявлять узкие места и повышать производительность систем;

Повышать отказоустойчивость и масштабируемость баз данных и брокеров сообщений;

Разрабатывать и внедрять высоконагруженные распределённые системы;

Обеспечивать устойчивую обработку большого объема трафика и данных;

Автоматизировать инфраструктурные процессы с применением IaC (Infrastructure as Code);

Сопровождать и совершенствовать CI/CD процессы совместно с командами разработки и эксплуатации.


Мы ожидаем:

Опыт в сфере DevOps/SRE от 4 лет;

Уверенные знания Linux (CentOS, Debian, RHEL), навыки траблшутинга и работы с сетями;

Опыт работы с PostgreSQL и Redis, а также брокерами сообщений (RabbitMQ, Kafka — будет плюсом);

Навыки кластеризации и оптимизации баз данных, построения отказоустойчивых систем;

Опыт работы с контейнеризацией (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), а также инструментами IaC (Ansible, Terraform);

Понимание сетевых технологий (TCP/IP, VLAN, маршрутизация и пр.).


Будет плюсом:

Опыт реализации DevOps-практик в продуктовых командах;

Знание инструментов сборки и доставки (GitLab, Nexus);

Понимание архитектуры высоконагруженных систем.
