DEMS at the SOTU last night looked like they got hit with a surprise pop quiz on “How to Look Presidential While Your Party Is Actively Imploding 101”… and they clearly didn’t study. They sat there blinking like Windows 95 trying to open a 4K video — total system freeze. Every time the camera panned over, you could practically hear the dial-up modem noises coming from their section. By the end they were shuffling out like they just found out the open bar was actually just seltzer water and existential dread. Faces screaming “404: Confidence Not Found.” They’ve got less momentum right now than a deflated campaign balloon in February. Completely lost, and totally cooked.
