‼️ LF Decentralized Trust recently hosted an online meetup, where speakers explored Hyperledger Indy on Besu, a public permissioned blockchain built on Ethereum, designed to support Self-Sovereign Identity Solutions.

⭐️ Renata Toktar, DSR’s Lead Software Engineer led the session. The meetup also included real-world use case examples and a live demonstration of issuing and verifying SSI credentials using Indy on Besu.

⚡️Matt Nelson from Consensys, Nischal Sharma from Web3 Labs, and Mateus Sousa from CPQD joined the session and shared their expertise.

☄️ DSR Conducts Training for FEUP Students on Self Sovereign Identity and Blockchain

🟢 Renata Toktar, DSR’s Lead Software Engineer, conducted a training session on Self Sovereign Identity and Blockchain for students on October 21. Antonio Neto, Manager of the Apps Team in Porto, was responsible for organizing the logistics.

📍 Held at FEUP, Engineering University of Porto, the training was organized within the context of the partnership between DSR and JuniFEUP.

✏️ During the training, students learned what Self Sovereign Identity is, how it is used, and how it interconnects with Blockchain.

By the end of the session, attendees gained valuable insights that will aid them in their future careers.

⚡️ Our team demonstrated Multi-Protocol Gateway Middleware with Multi-PAN feature and Zigbe-to-Matter Bridge.

Moreover, DSR participated in a range of sessions for Zigbee, Matter, and Product Security.

A Multi-Protocol Gateway with Multi-PAN allows seamless communication across different IoT protocols (Zigbee, Thread, Wi-Fi) in a single system, while a Zigbee-to-Matter Bridge enables older Zigbee devices to connect with new Matter ecosystems.
