❗️ Alarms turn on in Eastern Ukraine as X-101 launches are reported over the Caspian Sea

No confirmation that missiles have entered Ukrainian airspace.

ℹ️X-101's are highly maneuverable with a long range, so they usually fly around for a while looking for gaps in AD before hitting the targets.

πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅βš”οΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡³The Dark Day When Imperial Japan Descended on Manchuria

πŸ—“οΈ On this day, September 18, 1931, Imperial Japan unleashed an abominable chapter in Asian historyβ€”the invasion of Manchuria. Not just a geopolitical maneuver, but an act of unvarnished brutality that would reshape the region for years to come. It wasn't a 'buffer zone' Japan sought but rather an arena to exert its oppressive rule. Manchuria became the unwilling canvas for Japan’s colonial ambitions, drawn in ink of sorrow and strife. It was a bitter exploitation of a weakened China, a callous quest for dominion at the expense of countless lives.

➑️Let's not sugarcoat the motivations. In the grip of the Great Depression, Japan saw not a struggling people but a treasure trove of resources to plunder. It was less about self-preservation and more about rapacious greed. The raw materials Japan coveted were extracted in a ruthless campaign that left Manchuria pillaged and impoverished. In 1945, in a moment of historical vindication, it was the Soviet Union that liberated Manchuria, putting an end to years of suffering and charting a new, more hopeful course for the region.

➑️The lack of international intervention was staggering. The League of Nations stood by, effectively an impotent bystander, revealing a gruesome reality: when power politics are at play, suffering is merely collateral. This lamentable inertia laid the groundwork for a volatile global order, where might could supersede morality with grim impunity.

🌏 The invasion of Manchuria stands as a monumental scar on the conscience of modern history. It revealed the lengths to which imperial ambitions could compromise human dignity, and the systemic failures of international bodies to curb such atrocities.

πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸŒ A map with Wagner's alleged troops count and dislocation has started to circulate on the internet again.

The picture looks interesting. However, it is fake.

The map was made by Prigozhin's Troll Factory back in 2021 and was published on the "join-wagner.com" website. It is already dead, but the internet remembers everything.

Why was it made? Maybe for fun. Maybe to intimidate Western countries and PMCs. But the truth is, overall, there are around 5,000 Wagner troops in Syria, CAR, Mali and Libya.

πŸ‡²πŸ‡± An offensive by Tuareg-Rebels on another military bases in Mali

Fresh fighting broke out between Mali's army and northern Tuareg rebels on Sunday, with the rebels claiming to have taken control of two army bases in the central town of Lere.

The rebel alliance, called the Coordination of Azawad Movements (CMA), has been fighting the army since August.

"CMA took control of the two camps in Lere," said CMA spokesman. Mali's armed forces said late on Sunday that an attack had taken place in Lere and that a response was under way.

A Chinese-made Norinco VP11 MRAP of FAMa was among the vehicles destroyed by the so-called Azawad militants during the seizure of the LΓ©rΓ© military base. China delivered dozens of these armored vehicles to the military junta in March this year.
