Hi Everyone,

Per this post we reported what Prigozhin said but I wanted to say that, in my personal opinion, he is full of it on this matter.

Mediazona, which is looking for ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING was able to identify at most slightly more than 4,000 prisoners KIA and 1,575 Wagner 'regulars' over the course of this 15 month war. Also the prison population of Russia in 2019 was 467,000. I highly doubt Prigozhin got to recruit over 10% of the prison population or even that there were 50,000 prisoners who would even meet Wagner's admittedly not particularly strict but not exactly carefree standards. As to exact AFU KIA numbers - nobody knows what they are. In view of the pictures we get from new cemetries and what can be observed on the battlefield though both identifable personnel and vehicles losses we can safely say "substantially higher than the Russians by order of magnitude" but that gives us rough ideas, nothing so precise as what Prigozhin says.

Prigozhin has an agenda, and he is angling here for political power and saying that he can fix what is broken. In view of what we posted today from the Ministry of Defense demonstrating substantial Ukrainian losses due to their Belgorod incursion, I at least am not so convinced that the regular Russian military is broken. One of the Generals Prigozhin derides, General Alexander Lapin, led this action himself, from the front. He killed a lot of the Nazis without losing any of his guys, expelled the invaders and recorded it all to ensure that not only were they defeated but also humiliated.

MiG-31K ‘Patriot Killer’: How Russia Developed its Most Accomplished Strike Fighter and Why it Won

"On May 16 Russian Air Force MiG-31K strike fighters launched Kh-47M2 Kinzhal ballistic missiles to target a Patriot air defence system in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, and reportedly successfully destroyed the command/radar vehicle and five launch batteries. With the Patriots according to Russian sources having fired 32 surface to air missiles to attempt to intercept the incoming attack, none of which struck their targets, the operation highlighted both the limitations of NATO’s top long range air defence system, and the advanced capabilities of the MiG-31K and its primary weapon."

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸 Following the 2nd Day of the Battle near #Belgorod, the #US began to change their Shoes in the Air⚡️

💬 The Head of the Press Service
of the US Department of State, Matthew Miller, said at a regular briefing that #US authorities "doubt the veracity of reports" that Ukrainian saboteurs had used US-provided weapons during a sortie in the Belgorod Region.

❗️Then an even more amusing Report emerged, the Pentagon said it did not approve the transfer of equipment supplied to #Ukraine to a third party, and Kiev had not requested it.

▪️ At first Washington was silent for 24 hours, observing the situation. When it became clear that #Russia was once again losing in the information space and that the military's sortie was having a positive propaganda effect, Miller burst into a post about that "Ukraine decides for itself how to conduct hostilities".

▪️ Exactly three days earlier, the State Department's official Russian account had bravado: The RF Armed Forces are "suffering defeats at every level" and #Russia's "credibility on the international stage has been undermined."

📌 However, as soon as it became clear that the attack by Ukrainian saboteurs had been thwarted, and not at all parade photos of abandoned US equipment (very reminiscent of pictures of Americans fleeing #Afghanistan) appeared on the web, the State Department rhetoric changed dramatically to "this is not our weaponry".

It is one thing for Ukrainian troops to win tactical victories in the #Donbass, but quite another for #US equipment to be used to raid #Russia's "internationally recognised" borders. Republicans are already clinging to this, and voters will have a hard time explaining such irrational use of equipment.

🇷🇺 🇺🇦 It is premature to talk about a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, there are no prerequisites for this yet, Dmitry Peskov said.

Answering the question which of the plans for a peaceful settlement of the conflict proposed by different parties is closer to Russia and whether it has its own version of such a plan, the press secretary said: "It is premature to talk about it while there are no prerequisites for a peaceful settlement, obviously." "The special military operation continues," he added.

When asked to clarify whether the Kremlin is ready to negotiate with any of the representatives of the current Kiev authorities, Peskov said: "It is unlikely that this can be discussed, because any negotiations with the Russian Federation are prohibited [in Ukraine]."

🤓NATO chief welcomes decision to train Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16s, allows for possibility of 'delivery later on'

He is still shaking, dancing and waving with his hands, especially after 0:49…

P.S. He also added that this is a war of aggression “forgetting” that he said few times that Ukraine was pumped with weapons and their units were trained by NATO since 2014,and that Ukraine government was illegally overthrown and not changed on “democratic elections” as “the West civilised socety” political elites like to say….

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that 70% of cross-border settlements between the Russian Federation and China are already carried out in national currencies.

"I am sure that this year we will not only fulfill the task set by the heads of state to increase mutual trade turnover to 200 billion dollars ahead of schedule, but also exceed this landmark milestone," he said during negotiations in Beijing with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang.

He noted that 70% of cross-border settlements between Russia and China are already carried out in national currencies - rubles and yuan. He stressed that cooperation in the energy sector has become strategic:

"Russia ranks first in oil supplies to China, exports of natural gas, coal and electricity are growing," he added.
