Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired twice at the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, the second time a fire started due to hits. Energodar turned out to be de-energized, electricity and water disappeared in the city. Also, a garage cooperative came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the cars of Energodar residents were damaged.

▪️Ukrainian shells hit an open switchgear (OSD), through which electricity from the station is distributed in different directions: to Zaporozhye, Melitopol, Nikopol. Most likely, the Ukrainian gunners were aiming at the new section of the outdoor switchgear, through which electricity is supplied to Kakhovka.

▪️Due to the hits, the equipment of power unit No. 3 was de-energized and the power at power unit No. 4 had to be reduced. The shells damaged the hydrogen pipeline, and hydrogen ignited.

▪️It was through Kakhovka that it was planned to connect the ZNPP to the Russian power grid. In case of damage to the outdoor switchgear section, part of the Kherson region may remain without electricity.

Information about the night shelling of Melitopol turned out to be untrue: according to local residents, it was quiet in the city today. The news turned out to be a throw-in of Ukrainian resources with reference to the local “mayor”, who left the settlement at the beginning of the SMO.

The video of the fire was also old. Melitopol was indeed shelled on the night of August 8: the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired several Tochka-U missiles into the city, which were shot down by Russian air defense. It was not possible to intercept only one ammunition, but its arrival also did not lead to casualties.

▪️ In the morning, air defence forces in Belgorod Region intercepted several shells fired from Ukrainian territory.

▪️ Russian units shelled enemy positions in Semenovka in Chernigov region, as well as Seredina-Budykh, Mezenovka and Katerinovka in Sumy region.

▪️ At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched at least four missile strikes on targets in Kharkov's Industrial and Kholodnogorsk districts. At the same time, the Russian Aerospace Defence Forces conducted a strike against a Ukrainian army facility near Verkhnyaya Saltov.

▪️ An allied offensive continues at Bakhmut(Artemovsk).
➖On the Seversk section of the front fighting is under way in the area of Verkhnekamenskoye and Ivano-Daryevka.
➖North-east of Soledar, Allied units supported by artillery and aviation develop an offensive in Yakovlevka.
➖In Soledar itself, units of the 6th Cossack Regiment of the LPR People's Militia have taken control of the entire territory of the KNAUF-Gypsum factory on the southeastern outskirts of the town. Clashes are taking place in the streets adjacent to the factory.

The Russian air force also engaged targets near Gusarovka.

Ukraine’s envoy to the United Nations was the only participant of the UN Security Council meeting who tried to raise the question of Russia’s alleged shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (NPP), Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said.

"The representative of the Kiev regime was the only person to claim during today’s session that Russia was shelling the Zaporozhye NPP and the city of Energodar that it controls," he said, adding that even the Kiev government’s western sponsors stopped short of doing so. "For the reasons of protocol, I would like to draw your attention to this statement, made by the Ukrainian side."

In his words, attempts to accuse Russia of shelling the facilities that it controls are "too absurd to be heard from grown-up, respectable people present in this hall."

The Zaporozhye NPP, located in the city of Energodar, is controlled by Russian troops. Over recent days, the Ukrainian forces have delivered several strikes on the nuclear plant’s premises, using, among others, drones, heavy artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems. In most cases, those attacks have been deflected by air defense systems, however, hits on infrastructure as well as in the vicinity of a storage facility of radioactive isotopes have been recorded.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 A few hours ago, the Russian Armed Forces attacked Nikopol on the right bank of the Kakhovka reservoir. From the settlement and its environs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in Energodar throughout the summer.

This is far from the first case of raids on the positions of Ukrainian formations in Nikopol, but the current attack is very different from the previous ones. According to the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this time a large number of kamikaze drones flew to targets in the city.

If the information is true, then it can be assumed that the products of the Iranian military-industrial complex are gradually appearing on an increasing number of sectors of the front.
