Polish President Andrzej Duda suggested that American leader Joe Biden move military equipment and weapons to the republic in order to strengthen his presence in the country.
"I appealed to President Joe Biden [with a proposal] that the American army move its military equipment and weapons to places created for this purpose on the territory of Poland in order to strengthen the potential of the American presence," he said on Wednesday on TVN24, stressing that this proposal "was received with great attention."
Answering a question about whether Biden made any specific promises or declarations about increasing the American military presence in Poland, Duda said that he did not expect such a quick reaction. According to the Polish president, Biden should discuss this idea with the US military.
