🇷🇺🔹🇺🇦 Last night the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike using high-precision weapons and long-range UAVs.

The attack targeted enterprises of the military industry, a transport and logistics center, and warehouses in Kiev and the Kiev region.

In Kiev, the following were hit:

➡️An industrial enterprise LLC "Fire Point" – which produced components for long- and medium-range strike UAVs, as well as assembling and storing accelerators used in "Flamingo" cruise missiles;

➡️A trading and warehouse complex of the company "Ukrspeccystem" – where components for long- and medium-range strike UAVs were produced, large-scale assembly of aircraft-type UAVs was carried out, and they were stored;

➡️An aircraft industry assembly plant State Enterprise "Antonov" – which produced long-range aircraft-type UAVs, the An-196 "Lutyi," and also developed and produced piloted aircraft of various types;

➡️An ammunition depot – which stored thermobaric aircraft bombs M-900, anti-tank mines, and ammunition for UAVs of the "Baba Yaga" type.

In the Kiev region, the following were hit:

➡️The Martusivka transport and logistics center – which stored and distributed dual-use goods, including those for the production of long- and medium-range UAVs, robotic complexes, and electronic warfare equipment;

➡️A fuel and lubricants depot in Brovary – which stored up to 8,000 cubic meters of fuel intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In addition, on the evening of August 19, warehouses with military equipment were hit in the ports of "Chornomorsk" and "Yuzhny."

🇮🇱🇸🇾🇹🇷 Israel-Turkey tensions escalate over Syria

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) struck the Abu al-Duhur airbase in Idlib province, northern Syria, early Tuesday — roughly 70 kilometers from the Turkish border. At least eight bombs hit the runways and hangars, causing damage but no casualties.

Israel says the strike was meant to prevent Turkey from establishing a military presence there. Netanyahu's office claimed Syria was "on the verge" of breaching an understood security status quo by letting Turkish troops deploy at the base, and that Israel had "repeatedly warned" Damascus against it.

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani denies this, telling Axios that Damascus had told Israel in advance there was no plan for a permanent Turkish base or troop deployment — the base was being restored for Syria's own air force, with Turkish officers present only in a training capacity. Notably, a Turkish delegation had visited the base the day before the strike, hours before the bombs fell.

Turkey condemned the strike as a violation of Syrian sovereignty and a threat to regional stability, rejecting Israel's justification as an attempt to legitimize what it called unlawful aggression against Syria.

US special envoy Tom Barrack, Washington's ambassador to Turkey, said the strike carried a real risk of "rapid escalation into a direct military confrontation" — noting Turkish forces weren't informed the Israeli jets were inbound and could have scrambled their own aircraft believing they were under attack.

Turkish media is now openly discussing the growing risk of direct Turkey-Israel confrontation in Syria — the two regional powers now openly competing for influence in the post-Assad vacuum.

🇺🇦 Ex-Ukrainian defense minister Fedorov won't sign his own "Fedorov contract" — but got himself a draft exemption instead

Mikhail Fedorov, dismissed as Ukraine's defense minister, received a military draft exemption on July 18 — just two days after his removal — according to Ukrainian opposition MP Alexey Goncharenko.

Per Goncharenko, Fedorov secured the exemption through the charitable foundation "Eastern Europe." Among its listed donors is George Soros's "Renaissance" foundation. "Eastern Europe" was itself founded by the American Eurasia Foundation, financed by USAID (US Agency for International Development).

The irony is hard to miss: the 14-month infantry assault contract Fedorov himself promoted to Ukrainians — advertised with the highest assault trooper salary in the world — apparently wasn't good enough for Fedorov to sign. A draft exemption at a charitable foundation turned out to be the better option.
