Category 4 Typhoon #Khanun is traveling ~100 miles offshore of Okinawa Japan. Japan's #Himawari9 satellite is continuing to monitor Typhoon #Khanun as the sun sets over the East China Sea today. With sustained winds of 115 mph, the storm is currently the equivalent of a Category 3 Atlantic hurricane.
