🌊📡 En estas jornadas, se pone de manifiesto la necesidad de reforzar las capacidades en el uso de la teledetección a través de Copernicus para el monitoreo, la gestión y la conservación de nuestros océanos, así como el enfoque de trabajar entre países de la región de manera articulada, para que sus resultados tengan mayor alcance que la suma de todas las partes.

Estas jornadas forman parte del proyecto del @iila_org 🏝️ “Planeta océano: Origen, presente y futuro de la vida en la Tierra”.

💡 La participación y el compromiso de las entidades y personas asistentes ha sido excepcional 🙌, demostrando un gran interés en profundizar sus conocimientos sobre los usos y aplicaciones de Copernicus para el monitoreo y conservación de nuestros océanos 🐠.

Durante el curso, los y las participantes aprendieron sobre:
✅ Principios de la oceanografía por satélite
✅ Funcionamiento del Servicio Copernicus de vigilancia del medio marino
✅ Uso de datos Copernicus para el estudio de los fondos marinos y submarinos
✅ Análisis del cambio climático y sus efectos en los océanos
✅ Servicios y productos marinos de EUMETSAT
✅ Herramienta MyOcean Pro Viewer
✅ Derecho y gobernanza del mar

🤝 Además, se destacó la importancia del trabajo colaborativo entre los países participantes 🌍, promoviendo un enfoque regional para enfrentar juntos los desafíos del cambio climático y la preservación de los océanos .

📢 ¡Y esto no termina aquí! 🔜 Se espera que la participación y el compromiso continúen en las próximas jornadas de formación virtual 💻📚, que marcarán el cierre de la primera edición del Clúster Copernicus Centroamérica en el ámbito marino y oceánico.
