Thankful for the smooth election certification at the Capitol today. J6 exposed the catastrophic failure of allowing politics to override security decisions and policies. I will always be appreciative of the efforts of the men and women of the USCP and the law enforcement agencies that came to my calls for assistance. May God continue to bless our great country! 🫡🇺🇸
Tonight, 60 Minutes will feature Frank Larkin, a friend, former Navy SEAL, and U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms, as he shares his powerful story about the devastating impact of repeated head trauma and traumatic brain injury (TBI)—a crisis affecting our nation’s warriors and first responders.
Frank’s advocacy is deeply personal. His son, Ryan Larkin, a decorated Navy SEAL, struggled with the invisible wounds of TBI before tragically taking his own life. Frank has since dedicated himself to raising awareness, pushing for critical research, and ensuring that those who sacrifice for our country receive the care and understanding they deserve.
This is a conversation we cannot afford to ignore. Tune in tonight to hear Frank Larkin’s urgent message on 60 Minutes.
📺 Watch tonight on CBS at 7:00 pm EST.

Today marks four years since the loss of Officer William “Billy” Evans. On April 2, 2021, Billy was killed when a deranged individual intentionally rammed a vehicle into the north barricade of the Capitol, striking him and another officer.
We remember Billy not only for how he died but also for how he lived—with honor, love for his children, and a deep sense of duty. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Just watched the interview with @MariaBartiromo — thank you Director, @FBIDirectorKash, and Deputy Director @FBIDDBongino for your relentless pursuit of the truth about J6.
I’ve fought to share the facts from Day One — through my testimony, evidence, and writings. I offered to help Speaker Pelosi and the Select Committee. They refused.
Grateful to Chairman @RepLoudermilk and his @GOPoversight team for doing what others wouldn’t: seeking the truth and allowing me to testify publicly.
Keep pressing forward. The American people deserve answers. 🇺🇸

Everyone has someone who shaped them. For me, it was my father—a USAF B-52 pilot who inspired my call to service. He rests at Arlington, among heroes who gave everything.
This #MemorialDay, we remember them—and we say thank you. 🇺🇸

FACT: On January 3, I made multiple requests for the assistance of the National Guard to help secure the Capitol on January 6 and was DENIED each time, leaving us underprepared for the attack. @realDonaldTrump @PressSec @bennyjohnson

Eight years ago today, I responded as a gunman opened fire on Republican members of Congress. Last year, President Trump was nearly assassinated. Today, two sitting Democratic lawmakers were shot in their homes — one is dead.
This is what happens when leaders glorify violence, demonize opponents, and treat law as optional.

I spent 25 years patrolling the streets of Washington, D.C. I know this city can be the safest in the world, if we fix what’s broken. When prosecutors refuse to paper cases (prosecute) and sympathetic juries let violent offenders walk free, our hard work on the streets is undone. Safety takes more than arrests; it takes accountability!

Ma’am, it is long past time to be honest with the American people. On January 3, I requested National Guard assistance, but your Sergeant at Arms denied it. Under federal law (2 U.S.C. §1970), I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval. That same day, Carol Corbin at the Pentagon offered National Guard support, but I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority.
On January 6, while the Capitol was under attack and despite my repeated calls, your Sergeant at Arms again denied my urgent requests for over 70 agonizing minutes, “running it up the chain” for your approval.
When I needed assistance, it was denied. Yet when it suited you, you ordered fencing topped with concertina wire and surrounded the Capitol with thousands of armed National Guard troops.
