Russian forces advanced on both the southern and northern flanks of the salient west of Kurakhove, gaining more ground in Andriivka, and approaching the village of Kostyantynopil.

Meanwhile in Andriivka, Russian forces advanced deeper into the village and are approaching the central part. They were able to take up new positions in the houses there.

5 Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers departed from Olenya air base in Murmansk Oblast a short time ago and are flying south towards the potential launch lines in the Engels district of Saratov Oblast.

Richard Grenell, special envoy to U.S. President Donald Trump, met with Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro on Friday.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a Friday press briefing that Rick Grenell had been instructed to identify a place and ensure that repatriation flights of Tren de Aragua members, of Venezuelan nationals who have broken our nation’s laws, will land in Venezuela. He is also there to ensure that "all U.S. detainees in Venezuela are returned home."

"The United States and President Trump expects Nicolas Maduro to take back all of the Venezuelan criminals and gang members that have been exported to the United States, and to do so unequivocally and without condition," Mauricio Claver-Carone, Trump’s special envoy to Latin America, said.

This comes as the Trump Administration revoked deportation protection status for 600,000 Venezuelans who have come to the United States since 2014.

Russian forces continue to advance in western Donetsk Oblast, taking up new positions on the approaches to Sribne.

In the north, Russian forces advanced south from positions in the orchards, down two treelines. In the western treeline, Russian forces were able to reach the northern outskirts of Sribne. A Ukrainian source suggested that Russian forces are gearing up to attack west towards the village of Preobrazhenka.

In the south, Russian forces marginally advanced, capturing a small, forested area on the southern approaches to Sribne.

It appears that Russia is attempting a pincer movement on the village, with the goal of squeezing the Ukrainian garrison out, following a failed attempt to attack directly into it from the southeastern outskirts.
