Large afternoon Russian Geran-2 drone attack on Ukraine right now:

At least 50 Geran-2/Gerbera drones have entered Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava Oblasts in several groups.

Additionally, several more V2U drones struck targets in Kharkiv City, including gas stations.

Railway infrastructure has been increasingly coming under attack in the city.

Following earlier Belarusian helicopter flights within 2-3 km of the international border near Chornobyl, Zelensky issued a statement reporting that there was unusual activity on the Belarusian side the day before yesterday.

He expressed that Ukraine is "carefully monitoring everything", and is ready to defend itself.

Most of the drones have turned towards Kyiv. The first ones are 35 km away.

Ukraine has begun significantly ramping up its long-range UAV attacks on Russia and has switched to launching them at all hours, rather than just overnight.

The drones are moving in large groups through border regions, with Russian radars struggling to detect them all. This is also overloading their air defence, which is limited in less populated areas due to the prioritisation of defending major centres.

This was a tactic used last year during the massive attacks on Moscow and other regions, and its likely that we will see continuous launches up until the Victory Day Parade on May 9, assuming a temporary truce is indeed implemented.

Russian forces have captured the village of Pokolyane, Bilyi Kolodyaz direction, Kharkiv Oblast (Chuhuiv District).

Pre-war population: ~200.
Total land area: ~1.04 km².

The fighting for Pokolyane lasted approximately 8 days.

Most of the ~60 drones in Ukrainian airspace are/were Gerbera decoy drones. They are flying erratically, constantly changing their course, wasting Ukrainian air defence in Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Sumy Oblasts.

Today's daytime Russian drone attack consisted at least 230 drones of various types, including Geran-2, Geran-3, Gerbera, and V2U. Just over half were Geran-2 drones.

Recent claims of Russian control over Myropillya in Sumy Oblast are false.

Russian forces were able to advance in the fields east of the town, however they have only managed to infiltrate some of the eastern and northeastern streets. Recent KAB glide-bomb strikes were also carried out on Ukrainian positions in the northern and southern parts of the town.
