Regarding the situation in Glushkovsky district of Kursk Oblast:

Russian soldiers on the ground recently reached out to a reliable source with information on recent Russian counterattacks.

They stated that originally, Ukraine funneled in 8-10 reserve battalions from the 21st separate brigade, 17th separate brigade, 95th separate airborne brigade and the 225th separate airborne brigade. Their main goal was to reach Glushkovo by attacking along the Glushkovo-Tetkino road. However, Tula paratroopers from an unspecified unit reportedly pushed the Ukrainians back from their positions in Veseloe, and recaptured the village, while other assault detachments began clearing treelines close to the international border.

Meanwhile, further east, Crimean paratroopers of the 56th airborne assault regiment together with the 1427th motorized rifle regiment reportedly drove the Ukrainians out of the Medvezhye tract.

Apparently, as a result of these operations, the AFU has stopped attacking in this direction over the past couple of days and have abandoned some of their positions due to Russian artillery strikes. They are, however, responding with intense counter-battery fire with cluster munitions which had been accumulated before the offensive.

Regarding the Ukrainian evacuations of troops, one Russian soldier stated that "We had a task to move out at dawn and pin down 6 Ukrainians in a forest regiment. But at night, a Stryker armored personnel carrier slipped through and took everyone from their positions. They left two mined backpacks in the trenches."

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have advanced in the direction of Katerynivka, closing a salient east of the O0532 road and reaching the outskirts of Katerynivka.

This was done with a pincer maneuver along and against the treelines southwest of Kostyantynivka, before the Russians conducted a combined, downhill push to Katerynivka.

There are also reports that Russian forces entered the agricultural buildings in the south of the village, while stormtroopers entered the eastern residential blocks, although this remains unconfirmed.

It appears that the Russians are following the same pattern of attacks for Katerynivka that they used for both Kostyantynivka and Novomykhailivka as shown below:

1) Attack the agricultural buildings in the south
2) send elite units into the southeastern residential buildings.
3) Push up to the river, forcing a Ukrainian withdrawal from the Northeastern part of the village
4) link up with assault detachments from the agricultural buildings
5) make a combined push to the western outskirts as Ukrainian resistance begins to fall apart.
6) Repeat steps 1-5 for the next settlement in line.

Reports indicate that Ukrainian forces have withdrawn from most of the Nevelske-Krasnohorivka salient and are now stationed in the remaining treelines east of Zoryane.

Keep in mind that even if Ukraine fully withdraws over the Vovcha river, they will still be at a significant risk of encirclement in Kurakhivka and Hirnyk as the Russians continue to advance on the flanks.

Reports from reliable sources suggest that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have advanced in the direction of the Oskil River and have cut the road that supplies the northern salient.

The AFU was likely dislodged from their positions in the trees along the road, where the Russians took up positions. Additionally, the same reports suggest that Russian forces entered the northeastern part of Kolysynkivka, with assault operations underway in the residential area.

Russian forces have reportedly advanced north of Vuhledar and have seized new treeline positions.

If this is true, then it would indicate that they are not looking to consolidate control over their new positions in the high-rise buildings of Vuhledar and will instead exploit the momentum that they have found.

Violent clashes are ongoing on the Israel-Lebanon border right now. I will update when more info comes out.

The sounds of violent clashes were reported around the settlements of Yaroun and Maroun al-ras. An Al-Mayadeen correspondent reported that 5 direct engagements have occurred so far, 2 of which were in Adaisseh.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelling targeted Kfar Kila, coinciding with machine gun fire on some of the town’s neighbourhoods.

Hezbollah has responded with artillery shelling on Israeli positions in Ramtha. Additionally, another Israeli Merkava tank was reportedly hit in the forest near Maroun al-ras, killing and wounding the crew.

An Israeli airstrike on a mosque sheltering displaced civilians in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central part of the Gaza Strip has reportedly killed 18 people.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces advanced west of Makiivka and have expanded their bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets river.

They were able to exploit their control over the tactical heights to get behind the Ukrainian positions in the forests on the eastern face of the hill. This will allow them to group forces in Makiivka more easily without having to worry about Ukraine having fire control over the village.

This means that Makiivka can become a staging ground for future attacks both across the Zherebets river, and also to the north and south, eliminating the Ukrainian bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Zherebets river.
