Last night and this morning, another large-scale, combined Russian missile and drone attack was carried out on Ukraine.

Missiles launched:

~6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installations near Bryansk City, Bryansk Oblast.

~3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from OTRK installations northwest of Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast.

~1 Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from an OTRK installation near Taganrog, Rostov Oblast.

~6 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles launched from 3 Tu-22m3 strategic bombers at their launch lines in the Unechsky District, Bryansk Oblast.

~2 Iskander-K cruise missiles launched from OTRK installations near Khalino Airbase, Kursk Oblast.

~2 Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles launched from 2 MiG-31K fighters at their launch lines in eastern Tambov Oblast.

~2 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles launched from a K-300P Bastion-P TEL installation at Cape Chauda, Crimea.

~1 Kh-59/69 cruise missile launched from a Su-57 fighter at its launch lines in the Lgovsky District, Kursk Oblast.

Ukrainian air defence work:

As of the time of writing, it appears that Ukrainian air defence was able to intercept at least 1 Kh-59/69.

The main targets for this strike was Ukrainian energy infrastructure in Kyiv Oblast. The following was targeted:

CHP-6 Combined Heat and Power Plant, Kyiv Oblast (50.53188, 30.66309) by ~2 Iskander-Ms.

CHP-5 Power & Heat and Power Plant, Kyiv Oblast (50.39403, 30.56928) by ~2 Iskander-Ms.

"Kyiv" 750 kV electrical substation, Kyiv Oblast (50.49441, 29.69235) by ~5 Iskander-Ms, ~4 Kh-22/32s, and ~2 Zircons

Unknown target north of Radomyshl, Zhytomyr Oblast by ~2 Kh-22/32s and ~2 Kinzhals.

Unknown target near Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast by ~2 Iskander-Ks

Unknown target near Samar, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast by ~1 Iskander-M.

Keep in mind, the numbers of missiles launched may be slightly higher than what I've listed, as the number of missiles detected is sometimes lower than actual launches.

It seems this attack was primarily focused on doing as much damage as possible to the "Kyiv" 750 kV substation.

CHP-4, CHP-5, and CHP-6 have all been hit very hard in recent months, with only CHP-4 currently being operational, so attacking this substation would make sense.

The other place I think they will target again in the near future will be the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant, which also is still operational right now.

Russian forces have captured the village of Novopavlivka, Druzhkivka direction, Donetsk Oblast.

Pre-war population: ~36.
Total land area: ~0.13 km².

The fighting for Novopavlivka lasted approximately 10 days.

Correction: 7 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles were used on the "Kyiv" 750 kV electrical substation during this attack, not 6.

Nevermind, it seems 12 Kh-22/32 cruise missiles were used, with 3 being launched each from 4 Tu-22m3 strategic bombers.

This is what I mean when I say "Keep in mind, the numbers of missiles launched may be slightly higher than what I've listed, as the number of missiles detected is sometimes lower than actual launches." In this case, it was exactly double the number that I initially counted, which has happened a couple times before.

I'm surprised they are still there after the repeated Iskander strikes in 2024.

Myrhorod Airbase is only around 140 km from the Russian border.

Two Russian Geran-2 drones with Electro-Optical seekers struck Ukrainian Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters stationed at an airstrip in the city of Mala Vyska, Kirovohrad Oblast.

Both of the Gerans were directly controlled by drone operators. We are continuing to see a significant rise in the number of remotely-controlled Geran-2 drones being used by Russia.

Both of these helicopters were likely used for air defence purposes.
