Reliable reports suggest that Russian forces continue to advance in the direction of Selydove and have entered the city.

Russian forces have likely captured the Kotlyarevsky Terykon and advanced to the Korotchenko mine. Due to them now having fire control over eastern Selydove the Russians were likely also able to enter Myra street.

Additionally, Russian forces likely captured around a third of Mykolaivka, and have entered the eastern Dachas.

Following reports of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups entering the Selydove city park and being destroyed by Ukrainian forces, reports came in of another group of Russians which had infiltrated the city in the direction of the Shakhter Stadium.

As of the time of writing, it is reported that they have entrenched in the area of the stadium and that clashes are ongoing with Ukrainian forces defending the complex.

Multiple sources are also reporting that following the capture of the mine, Russian forces captured the Korotchenko Terykon. Ukrainian forces likely withdrew to the Selydove city park and sports complex.

A ballistic missile was launched from Kursk Oblast at Poltava. It flew over Sumy Oblast and is heading in the direction of Myrhorod.

An Iskander missile was launched from Crimea in the direction of Odesa Oblast.

An explosion was reported in Kominternivs'ke, Odesa Oblast.

Reports from this morning suggest that Russian forces have advanced further up the railway line from Novohrodivka and from Mykolaivka and gained a foothold in the southernmost part of Myrnohrad.

A few hours later, reports came in stating that clashes were ongoing in the Zapadny micro-district, although it is unknown whether positions were established.

Meanwhile in Kirov Oblast, a Ukrainian UAV struck a tank for storing petroleum products near the town of Kotelnich. Kotelnich is roughly 1,150km from the border with Ukraine.

Reports from both Russian and Ukrainian sources indicate that Russian forces have captured the Terykon "Novohrodivka no. 1".

If true, this would allow the Russians to gain fire control and surveillance over the approaches to the villages of Lysivka and Sukhyi yar. It may also allow for further advances up the railway line, if that hasn't occurred already.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces mostly closed the Pobieda salient, and advanced to new positions northeast of Paraskoviivka.

Here they managed to advance downhill from the tactical heights towards a gulley formed by a tributary of the Sukhi Yaly river. Ukrainian forces were pushed back to positions on the western bank of this tributary on the other tactical heights.

In my opinion, Russian forces will push down the O0532 road from Pobieda as they already control the high ground there, therefore avoiding an uphill battle.

The maximum advance of Russian forces was ~2.28km.

New reports suggest that Russian forces significantly expanded the area of control north of Shevchenko near Vuhledar and have reached the Kashalahach river from the south.

It is possible that this is in preparation for a flanking maneuver on western Vuhledar combined with an attack from the O0532 road from the east.

This comes as Russian forces reportedly advanced on Vodyane, and are approaching the outskirts of the village. Vodyane is located to the Northeast of Vuhledar.

This indicates that Russian forces want to flank Vuhledar from the northeast and possibly even the west.

Powerful explosions were reported in Slovyansk, Donetsk Oblast.

Locals in Ukrainsk report that Russian forces are storming the town, and that they can hear the sound of tanks and machine guns. This indicates that the Russians may have advanced further down the treelines southwest of Memryk.

Update from Selydove:

Multiple reliable sources reported that Russian forces have greatly expanded their foothold inside Selydove and have advanced towards the city centre.

Following the likely fall of the second Terykon, Russian forces gained full fire control and surveillance over eastern Selydove, apparently allowing for forward units to advance into the city and establish positions inside the eastern residential areas.

Some sources even reported that fighting is ongoing in the high-rise residential area in the city centre, while others report clahses in the city park and sports complex.

There are also reports that Russian forces are advancing through houses on the southern bank of the Solona river in the direction of the other high-rise residential block.

Everything is moving very fast here, and it looks like Selydove might be lost within a week at this rate.

The first reports are coming in that Russian forces have entered Ukrainsk.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces made significant progress northeast of Hrodivka and reached the southern bank of the Kazenyi Torets river.

It is important to note that this advance is likely a few weeks old and probably occurred after the capture of Lozuvatske so I won't go into detail on it as I have made other posts on it before it was confirmed.

Either way, Russian forces were able to advance downhill from the dominant heights, capturing the villages of Tymofiivka, Lysychne and Svyrydonivka, however all of these settlements are only a cluster of houses. The important factor for the Russians in this advance is the fact that Ukrainian forces were pushed to the northern bank of the Kazenyi Torets river and now likely only maintain a small bridgehead near the Novotoretske Gulley.

There are also reports that Russian forces established their own bridgehead on the northern bank of the river and are attacking in the direction of Yelyzavetivka.

Geolocated footage shows that Russian forces have captured the northern residential areas of Novohrodivka and have therefore captured the entirety of the town. If the reports on when Novohrodivka first fell are correct, then the battles lasted just three days.

The footage shows a Russian flag being hung on the roof of the administrative building of the Novohrodivka no. 1 mine, however there is still no confirmation of Russian control over the adjacent Terykon (industrial waste heap).

The fall of Novohrodivka will allow for further advances up the intact windbreaks on either side of the railway tracks in the direction of Myrnohrad, possibly joining up with attack vectors from Mykolaivka.

It is also possible that Russian forces will assault in the direction of Sukyi Yar and Lysivka (to the northwest) in order to reach Pokrovsk, although they may wait for Myrnohrad to fall before launching direct assault operations on the city.

The maximum advance of Russian forces was 1.45km.

Regarding the situation in Karlivka:

Geolocated footage and reliable reports suggest that Russian forces captured the village of Karlivka in the Selydove direction.

Starting off with what is confirmed, Russian forces marginally advanced inside Karlivka, capturing the rest of the eastern Dachas and the medical centre. Soldiers raised their unit flag over the complex.

As for likely advances, Russian forces reportedly advanced from two directions in a pincer movement, one from the northwest exploiting the Ukrainian collapse on the western bank of the Vovcha river and the other from the already established positions near the Karlovs'ke reservoir. These advances likely joined up around the intersection of the Vovcha river and the Karlovs'ke reservoir, forcing a Ukrainian withdrawal south to the village of Halytsynivka.

Due to the cutting of the E50 highway in two places, the Ukrainian garrison inside the village was reportedly running low on ammunition and likely withdrew due to a combination of this and the fact that the Russians were about to cut the last remaining supply route into the village which runs through Halytsynivka.

Overall, the fall of Karlivka will likely allow for further advances south along the Vovcha river with the end goal probably being to force a Ukrainian withdrawal from the Nevelske-Krasnohorivka salient.
