Russian air defence reportedly shot down one of their Tu-160s over Tver Oblast mistaking it for a Ukrainian UAV.

This is currently unconfirmed.

An Iskander hit Konotop, Sumy Oblast. Explosions were heard.

At least 1 Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bomber departed from Olenya Airbase in Murmansk Oblast. The Tu-22M3 can carry a Kh-22 cruise missile.

NASA FIRMS data picked up a large fire at the Chuhuiv Airbase in Kharkiv Oblast. This was probably caused by Geran-2 drones targeting Ukrainian UAV launch points.

6 Tu-95s from Engels-2 and Olenya Airbases conducted launch maneuvers over Penza Oblast. Missiles are expected in Ukraine shortly.
