This module targets Android devices running QPR1 to fix issues with permissions in the Android/data and Android/obb directories. It automatically creates app-specific folders after device boot if they do not exist and sets their permissions to 0777 (read, write, execute for all). It also attempts to restore the original SELinux context for these folders if available.

Solves problems where apps cannot write to their Android/data or Android/obb directories on QPR1 Android versions due to stricter permission policies.

A few words...

Dear Community,

Today we have an important update to share.

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to officially and permanently discontinue The Pixel Project. This is not a pause - the project is coming to an end effective immediately.

This decision comes after several factors. Google has made the ROM development environment increasingly difficult. The lack of active developers made continuation unsustainable. On a personal level, the project leads have faced serious real-life challenges in recent months, though everything seems to be fine now, this prevented us from maintaining the necessary focus and continuity.
Although initial barebone work on Android 16 had begun, these issues made it impossible to properly refine the project without repeatedly starting over.

What happens now:
The shutdown takes effect immediately. Our social and distribution platforms (Twitter/X, SourceForge, Pling) will be gradually closed. The GitHub organizations will remain accessible but will remain archived.
support is officially terminated. Existing builds will remain available on SourceForge temporarily, until the handle itself is closed.

What comes next:
Despite the project’s closure, the team remains strong. Modedges and I are on excellent terms and will continue to stay in touch — he will focus on his Atlantis project which i recommend you check out.

As for me, I’m working on a new tech-related initiative, and — if there’s enough interest — the existing TPP channels will be repurposed and remain active, rather than starting from scratch. Updates will be shared in the discussion group and on my personal channel
