It is not related to the film series starring Milla Jovovich and is a true horror film, not an action movie.
According to director Zak Kreuger, known for "Tools" and "Barbarian," he tried to preserve the atmosphere of the classic Resident Evil games, especially the era of Resident Evil 2.
Reviews from closed screenings say that the film keeps you on the edge of your seat for all 90 minutes, and the action rarely lets up. The main focus is on one central character, through whom the audience experiences the entire nightmare.
The premiere is scheduled for September 18th.
