Last year, the State of Texas installed its own border measures. Understandably so.

The Biden Admin then began removing those barriers.

In October 2023, Texas went to the Fifth Circuit and argued against this action, saying that the Border Agents were violating Texas Law in doing so.

The Fifth Circuit granted a STAY (a temporary pause) of this activity.

So the Biden Admin went to SCOTUS.

They argued to SCOTUS that the STAY prevented Border Agents from doing their job as Texas had placed the barriers in such a way as to prevent agents from accessing certain areas (about 2.5miles of border).

Texas argued that it was in the public interest for the STAY to remain in place, that the border was not secure, that agents were not enforcing Federal Law, and that the Biden Admin going to SCOTUS was unnecessary as the case was already docketed to be heard on Feb 7.

In a 5-4 decision, the court vacated that lower courts order, meaning they unpaused the activity.

The four conservative justices were interested in it staying in place for now, the other five justices were not.

Important to understand that the Federal Government has the authority and power to enforce its own Laws and SCOTUS has just reaffirmed that. Not Texas nor any other State can prevent the Federal Government from doing so.

I’m not telling you it’s the correct decision at this moment.

I’m not telling you that you have to like it.

I’m just telling you that it’s understandable.

And I will also tell you that the question to now ask, and one that I’m sure Texas will, is…

What about the instances where the Federal Government fails to enforce its own Laws and that failure is to the grave detriment of the citizens of Texas and other States?

I think SCOTUS will see that issue differently.

The goal was to open it to faith leaders, however, due to the county's interpretation of legal compliance, anyone, religious or not, could deliver an invocation.

Why Am I In Philly Today?

Despite the fact that democrats had 450,000 votes locked in before Election Day in 2023 — b/c of mail-in ballots — the slate is wiped clean every year.

In Pennsylvania, you have to request a mail-in ballot annually.

So, the democrats will have to build up their firewall again. However, it’s going to be much easier for them b/c once you have signed up for a mail-in ballot, the state will mail you a request form. You have the option to choose a mail-in ballot for the next election or for the rest of the year.

Therefore, democrats are gaming the system b/c they are using state funds to get mail-in ballot requests to their voters, while we are having to spend GOP $ to reach our base. Even worse, non-profit organizations also send unsolicited request forms to voters.

The democrats’ goal is to get as many of their voters to sign up for mail-in ballots b/c they know that a vote by mail voter is more likely to vote than an in-person voter.

If Republicans do not diversify our approach to voting, we will lose & Joe Biden will be re-elected.

In Pennsylvania, ballots can be mailed to voters as early as 50 days before Election Day. So, while Republicans are only waiting to vote on ONE day, democrats are locking in 450,000 votes prior to November & using 50 days to chase ballots.

How can we compete? We cannot make up 50 days worth of work in 12 hours.

My goal is to recruit volunteers, knock on doors that have never been knocked, sign up voters for mail-in ballots, & bring new life into the party.

I can’t do this alone. Sometimes, it does feel like I’m alone. Heck, our own party won’t even listen to us.

My dad always said to never present a problem without offering a solution. So, instead of just complaining on social media, I’m spending this Saturday leading a training/door knock event in Philadelphia to

be the change.
