California’s lieutenant governor on Wednesday sent a letter calling for the secretary of state to explore options for taking President Donald Trump’s name off California’s 2024 presidential primary ballot.
Four years ago Gavin Newsom signed SB 27, a bill to deny presidential candidates a spot on the ballot if they hadn't released their tax returns. The State Supreme Court promptly and unanimously struck the law down.

Drought-prone California OKs new rules for turning wastewater directly into drinking water‼️
When a toilet is flushed in California, the water can end up in a lot of places: An ice skating rink near Disneyland, ski slopes around Lake Tahoe, farmland in the Central Valley.
And — coming soon — kitchen faucets.
California regulators on Tuesday approved new rules to let water agencies recycle wastewater and put it right back into the pipes that carry drinking water to homes, schools and businesses.
