Trump's announcement today is BIG.

The $3.5 million from Russsia was paid to an investment firm that Hunter Biden was connected to named Rosemont Seneca Thornton.

The payment was made by Elena Baturina, the wife of the late mayor of Moscow, who was 'allegedly' involved with human trafficking and prostitution rings.

The payment was identified as a "consultancy agreement".

Money-Laundering, anyone?

When Trump brought up this issue in his debate with Joe Biden, Chris Wallace cut him short, claiming it was irrelevant.

Of course, CNN "fact checkers" did their best to deny the allegations. They ruled it as false information. Their reasoning?

"Hunter Biden was a co-founder and CEO of the investment firm Rosemont Seneca Advisors. But Mesires said Hunter Biden did not co-found Rosemont Seneca Thornton. It's not clear what connection exists between Rosemont Seneca Advisors and Rosemont Seneca Thornton.

Neither the Senate report nor Trump have provided any evidence that the payment was corrupt or that Hunter Biden committed any wrongdoing."

Never did they confirm what the payment actually WAS for, just that it didn't prove any evidence of wrong doing on its own.
