Right, this is the contract for the Pfizer vaccine that was given to Albania.
I don't know if any of you have read this yet, but it's essentially the worst deal anybody could sign and you'd wonder why you would?
Even the devil wouldn't have made a deal like this and he's meant to rule hell! I think he might have some competition!
Anyway, to my point. Once a nation has signed up to Pfizer's deal, their leader / El Presidente / warlord /drug Baron / prime minister etc effectively becomes nothing more than a glorified pharma rep!

Costs that, incidentally, if a delivery is delayed, stolen and or lost that country must pay, irrespective of receipt of any product. If it is delayed, stolen and or lost, Pfizer is not liable and / or responsible and payment still has to be made and Pfizer cannot be at fault. Which basically means: (if say, for instance) Pfizer, en route, decides its going to steal its own product or (do the old UK government trick) just say they sent it, when they haven't? Even if you can see the delivery truck, saying in bold letters, it's bound for your country, emblazoned on the sides, if Pfizer says it isn't there and its is infact an orange dressed in a tutu you must take them at their word!
That's not the best part however, as any kind of attack, be that verbal and / or physical Pfizer demands an immediate defence from the government. So even if people are dying in front of your eyes with a written confession from Pfizer, because it'll make Pfizer look bad, the government still has to not just cover it up, but divert attention away from, or defend Pfizer's reputation. That's just 2 aspects, of what is essentially a fate worse than a fate worse than death, for a leaders political career.
