The FDA approved the vaccines for indication of prevention of COVID-19 and not prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
But the official RCT trials never demonstrated a reduction of CLI symptoms - they only showed that sick people tested less often positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Doesn't this mean they approved the vaccines for sth, which was not proven?
