🗓️ On February 5, 1905 Soviet diplomat Georgy Arkadyev was born
🔵 From 1966 to 1975 he served as Permanent Representative of the USSR to the IAEA (since 1968 - to the International Organizations in Vienna)
📌 During his stay in Vienna, he completed the process of acquiring into the ownership of the Soviet Union a plot of land, which subsequently became one of the residential complexes of the Mission
📸 Today, for the first time, we publish a footage from 1982, when the traditional «subbotnik» was held in the houses of the Mission on Schiffmühlenstrasse (called today «Arkadyevka»)
🔵 From 1966 to 1975 he served as Permanent Representative of the USSR to the IAEA (since 1968 - to the International Organizations in Vienna)
