Uglegorsk-Svetlodarsk power plant has reportedly been fully captured by the Wagner group and the Donetsk militia as of an hour ago.

Confident in this report as the Ukrainian army headquarters had earlier reported close quarters combat inside the actual facility. This opens up new axes of advance for the Russians towards Bakhmut (Artemivsk) and may indicate that the Ukrainians have begun falling back to stronger defensive lines.

Ukrainian situation in Novoluhans'ke [Novoluganskoye] and Semyhir'ya [Semigorye] also reportedly deteriorating. Withdrawals are expected by morning

Ukrainian chief of staff confirms successful Russian offensive into the power plant.

Confirmation of the fall of Novoluganskoye has been received from the Ukrainian side. Suggestions that Semyhir'ya [Semigorye] will be next to fall as Ukrainian units withdraw towards Zaitsevo and Bakhmut.
