📌Ways to apply to Polytechnic University📌

There are two ways to get a scholarship for international students at our university:

1) According to the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation (the deadline for submitting applications is January 15)
2) Through the Open Doors Olympiad (the deadline for submitting applications is November 20)

To increase your chances of admission, we recommend using both options.

The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee + you receive a monthly scholarship. This month is the perfect time to start preparing all the necessary documents for participation in the selection.

❗️Please note that applying by quota is until January 15, and through participation in the Olympiad until November 20
❗️It is important to put the 1st priority of Polytech when filling out documentsl

Each option gives you the opportunity to enroll in bachelor's, master's, and postgraduate studies.

If you are currently studying under an international educational program (i.e. in English), for further study you can either choose an English program, or first study Russian at Preparatory Faculty, and then study according to the program that you choose.

⭐️ TF School Conclusion ⭐️
#1 Inner-Department project

The TutorForces School is coming to an end — the future Tutors are already presenting their final projects. The first team to show the result of their work is the Inner Department team, which has organized an internal event for the team's recruits.

The main purpose of an Inner Department is to promote team building in the community, and this task was successfully completed! The new participants got to know each other better during the thematical royal evening, took part in debates, discovered new sides and facts about each other and just had a good time chatting over a tea ceremony.

📌 The next tutic-teams to hold their events and complete their 2-week projects will be from Event-Department — Kvartirnik (21st of Nov., 18:00) and PolyTalks (23rd of Nov., 18:30). Join us in InterClub and see the results with your own eyes!

🎨 Tour of the RUSSIAN MUSEUM 🎨

We are waiting for you on our excursion to the Russian Museum on November 24th! You will have the opportunity to delve into Russian culture, learn about its history and get acquainted with Russian art starting with the iconography of Ancient Russia and up to the second half of the 19th century. During the excursion you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to «read» paintings.

All those who are willing to come will have to fill the form

📍 The excursion will be both in English and Russian.
📍 We’ll gather near the entrance of Akademicheskaya at 10:00, and from there we’ll go to the museum together. The excursion starts at 11:30, so buy the tickets for this time.
📍 It is necessary to buy tickets in advance. Ticket prices are 400-600 rubles.

⭐️ TF School Conclusion ⭐️
#2 Event-Department: Collaborative Event

What unites people better than music? On Thursday, an event was held by a Tutor School team - a collaboration with the band Secret Scarlet. Guys gave a lecture on the basics of music theory, and then invited the guests to play and sing their favorite songs altogether. Those who came to the event were offered guitars for practice, and some people even came with their own instruments! It turned out to be a cozy Kvartirnik and at the same time an informative music workshop.

📌 The next event of the Tutor School participants will be a trip to Russian Museum (24th of Nov., 10:00 at Akademicheskaya). Come join, cause we haven't been out in the city together for a long time!

#3 Event-Department: Indoor Event

On Saturday, a new event - PolyTalks - was held by the tutics team. It was hosted in the format of a general discussion on the topic of dream cities and what people think makes cities perfect. The guests exchanged their views, opinions and ideas, as well as told several facts about themselves in an interactive game form. PolyTalks may well become a permanent event where everyone can speak and share their thoughts on topics of concern to them.

С 25 ноября по 8 декабря 2024 года на базе Передовой инженерной школы «Цифровой инжиниринг» Санкт-Петербургского политехнического университета Петра Великого (ПИШ СПбПУ) при поддержке Министерства науки и высшего образования РФ и ФГАНУ «Социоцентр», Международных служб СПбПУ и Центра по работе с абитуриентами СПбПУ пройдет Зимний университет по инженерным наукам «Новые научные горизонты».

⚡️Функционал волонтёра:

* Встреча гостей в аэропортах и вокзалах на мероприятие;
* Помощь организации мероприятия;
* Навигация гостей;
* Сопровождение англо-говорящих участников.

#4 Event-Department project: Outdoor Event

The last event held within the framework of the Tutor School was an outdoor event — an excursion to the Russian Museum.

The group accompanied by tutics walked through the main exposition of the Russian Museum, the Mikhailovsky Palace and the Bryullov exhibition. The future participants have prepared a speech, answered questions about paintings and objects in the museum and showed a high level of engagement. They paid attention to the history, circumstances of that time, conditions of writing, possible "myths" about pictures, and pointed out small inconspicuous and at the same time significant details.

Tutics did a great and attentive job, at the same time reviving our tradition of joint trips to the city!
