A logo I created for Duke and Drummond - an American leather craftsman creating hand made products with a focus on quality, like wallets, bags, watch straps, every day carrying equipment and custom goods like sheaths.
It was requested that the Goshawk be included in the design, as it relates to the Drummond Clan emblem, which is a part of his family history.

Beowulf! I was commissioned by Chapter House to illustrate these three pieces for their upcoming children's book of the Old English Epic poem.
It is so vital to continue to tell these inherited tales especially as they pertain to the heroic. It was a real honour for me to illuminate this special piece of literature as best as I could.
The power of myth to move our hearts and let us recall a higher and more significant vision of life than we are often presented with today is very real.

I try to remain faithful to the original conception, even after things become highly developed and begin to change. I think it’s good to maintain an essence of the initial vision.
