Ana Kasparian Exposes where the money California is spending on homelessness is going

It’s being funneled into NGO’s & Executives are making $500k a year each

“Just experiencing what I've seen on the ground in California has made me question a lot about left wing ideology”

“We spent $13 billion in Los Angeles alone last year to combat homelessness. You wanna know where that money went? That money went to these trash nonprofits who have a bunch of executives making half a million a year.

You're working for a nonprofit dealing with homelessness. That's my money.

That's my parents' money. Okay, that is the hardworking people of California paying incredibly high taxes that go to what?

So, yeah. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of it and honestly just experiencing what I've seen on the ground in California has made me question a lot about left wing ideology.”

If you need to rack up some tax deductions - This is my once a year annual fundraising extravaganza...

100% of any end of year donations will go to tags/insurance and annual vehicle maintenance of the troopercare vehicle, the PO Box move (Our former business address PO Box place went out of business so we have to get a new one), and stuff like website renewals.

If you want to donate from Amazon Wishlist, just stuff like hot hands, pepper gel, small throw blankets, thick men/women socks, we are good on all first aid stocks right now.

No urgent need to donate -we can cover all the overhead expenses with cash on hand. We don't have employees but I would like to hire a dedicated (part time) bookkeeper next year. We are going into the magical three year mark of the charity so I think we can start applying for grants and stuff in 2026.

Again: No urgent needs, we are semi-idle while legislation is in-process. If that fails we are just going to shift modes into direct support and training organization for stuff like new mothers, field hygiene, and homeless/indigent advocacy.

Again, no urgent needs, just putting this out there for you end of year tax donation peeps.

My First Aid bills are now in queue for the 2026-57th AZ Legislative Session!

Please refer to these as "Medical Freedom Bills" as they guarantee the rights of persons to both seek and receive care from another person; And guarantee the legal authorization and ability for any person, regardless of their formal licensing or layperson status or credentials, to provide first aid to another person without risk or threats of either:
1) having formal/professional certification(s) or licenses revoked;
2) subjecting any licensed or unlicensed person from being charged with any crime for providing basic first aid outside of a clinical environment/without a doctor's authorization, authority, supervision, or permission to do so.

I need EVERYONE to sign into RTS (Request to Speak) and affirm the good of BOTH bills:

HB2034
https://www.azleg.gov/legtext/57leg/2r/bills/hb2034p.htm

SB1100
https://www.azleg.gov/legtext/57leg/2R/bills/SB1100P.htm

THESE BILLS ARE NON-PARTISAN
An open, uncovered wound is a public health threat. An infected, dirty wound knows no political party or agenda, it affects the person afflicted by it and any person exposed to it.

No nurse should be subject to board termination of their license for providing first aid at their child's soccer game, or assisting their neighbor with caring for elderly parent wound care. No Good Samaritan volunteer should risk being arrested and charged with a felony or misdemeanor for "practicing medicine without a license" in the act of providing free, voluntary, non-clinical first aid to another person who seeks and asks for assistance. No regulatory body, municipality, or bureaucrat should have the authority to selectively decide who is entitled to basic humanitarian care and concern, and who is not.

Please contact your legislators and offer kind words of support for these bills. I will follow-up with more information, progress, subcommittee dates when we can testify, and how to sign up for RTS (The AZ Legislative public online comment system, and in-person speaking request system).

These bills codify what is already the accepted standard of care, as defined by the Red Cross, WHO, FEMA, and even OSHA from a mandatory availability perspective.

- If you are a US Citizen, these bills protect you.
- If you are within the US illegally, these bills protect you.
- If you are a wealthy soccer mom, these bills protect you.
- If you are homeless or indigent, these bills protect you.
- If you are a licensed or credentialed medical worker who acts outside of your employer, on your own time, to provide first aid, these bills protect you.
- If you are worried about disease transmission through common surface or coffee lid/soda cup contact in public places, these bills protect you.

You have the right to seek medical care. You have the right to provide first aid to another person who asks for assistance.

Open wounds spread disease.
Open wounds are perfect environments for MRSA, C-Diff, Hepatitis, and other easily spreadable illnesses.

Do you want these diseases going from an open wound to dirty fingers to door handles, or counters, or keypads, or other products on a shelf, or beverage lids, cups, straws, and flatware that you put in your mouth?

Please support these bills through RTS and contact with your elected Legislative Leaders!

Please use this URL to lookup the current status of each bill:
https://apps.azleg.gov/BillStatus/BillOverview/

HB2034:
License exemption; Basic First Aid
This is the fundamental human right of basic Samaritan compassion that we are fighting for.

SB1100:
Informed Consent; Patient Rights; Protection of Licensed Practitioners to perform First Aid outside of their clinical/employer setting.

There may still be one more bill forthcoming; We'll see. I am hoping for a mirrored HB2034 bill in the Senate. Please ask your leaders to sponsor or co-sponsor such a bill!

Valentine's Day Outreach February 14, 2026

Music is healing.
Music is medicine.
And that’s exactly why music is ALWAYS a part of our outreach. 🎶❤️
This week we experienced something special. We had never heard Bounce sing before… and DANG, he’s good!
Outreach isn’t just about meals. It’s about connection. It’s about dignity. It’s about joy in the middle of hard places. And when someone finds the courage to share their gift like that? It changes the atmosphere. You can feel it.....
For a few minutes, the street didn’t feel so heavy. Sometimes healing looks like a hot plate of food. Sometimes it sounds like a song rising up in the middle of it all.
Thank you, Bounce, for blessing us. 💛

I can't even get our Arizona State Legislature to pass a bill that declassifies providing First Aid as felony - which is what I was threatened with for providing non-clinical first aid to homeless persons. This is a service that has received zero grants.

Brandy Chard from Billy's Way Home, just informed me that we lost Brenda a couple days ago. A few weeks ago, our friend Sean, the "Coppertone man", was murdered.

I have two bills in the Arizona State Legislature that do not appear to be going anywhere. We have multi-Billion dollar NGO fraud, Medicaid fraud, daycare fraud, fraud at every level - and itvis a FELONY to go to the street, where the people need the most immediate help - first aid - and provide that help.

Why do we vote? Why do we participate in a system that cares nothing for the weakest among us? When will our politicians stop and focus on the people in their districts? My first aid bill costs taxpayers NOTHING and it allows people to get the help they need when they need it.

I am disgusted with the nation we have become and the leaders who run it.

Everyone, please reach out to Rep. Payne and Sen. Fink on my Basic First Aid bills that are dying in committee!

SB 1192
HB 2034

https://legiscan.com/gaits/citation/897273

They may need help reaching out to subcommittee chairs or getting push forward from your fellow district legislators.

PLEASE HELP!!
Please contact AZ LD 1 Representitive, Dr. Selina Bliss,

[email protected]

I have sent her this message, and need your support getting our First Aid Bills moving forward.
Please assist!

Greetings, Selina, my name is Brent Cobb, LD27 PC & Sergeant-at-Arms for Carol Ayotte, the Chair of AZ LD 27.

I am working with Lisa Fink, and Kevin Payne, both from our LD, in working the First Aid bills through the legislature.

Both bills, SB1192 @ HB2034 are stalled in your committee. Please advise on what can be done to get these bipartisan bills moved forward. Providing first aid is not covered under the Good Samaritan shield.

In the past four years, my charity, trooperCare Network, has helped over a thousand homeless and indigent poor Arizonians - including battered women, veterans, the untreated mentally and physically disabled, eldery, and others with both acute and chronic infected open wounds.

When left untreated, these persons spread disease to the public, enter into the hospital system, and quite literally suffer amputations and death from sepsis.

We do not, nor have we ever provided any needles or "harm reduction" kits that contain needles or enable any other self-abuse habits or behaviors.

I welcome any questions or dialog to get these bills moving forward. We take no financial assistance from the State or Federal government, and our work literally saves lives and is provided at zero cost to the taxpayers.

Please let me know if you are available to discuss these urgent concerns further, and I hope your conscious and authority guides the path of these bills to the floor.

With respect,

Brent Cobb,
Field Director
trooperCare Network
Please support Brandy Chard's homeless outreach charity fundraiser with the Arizona Rattlers to raise funds for Billy's Way Home, the outreach that feeds our homeless and indigent brothers and sisters on the street where volunteers are making the most difference!

SB1192 @ HB2034 died in her committee - Dual bills that make prociding First Aid *NOT* a felony. First Aid is *NOT* covered under the Good Samaritan law. This was the second year we tried to get this passed. Shamp killed it last year. We can go from zero to full-scale war in a week, but we can't protect volunteers from felony charges by hostile phoenix police and city ordnances after nearly three years of working with Republicans to protect the weakest among us.

Pathetic and Shameful

BREAKING: California Controller’s Top Communications Official Admits Audits “Are Not Getting Done” & Acknowledges “100 Percent” Fraud Exists in the State

“We [CA Controller’s Office] just can’t conduct the audits”

“There is no statewide plan on homelessness”

“They [CA counties, cities] are asking for $1 billion this year”

@Bismarck419e is the Acting Deputy Controller of Public Affairs and Press Secretary for CA State Controller @MaliaCohen , the state’s chief fiscal officer responsible for accounting for and protecting California’s financial resources. Bismarck Obando admitted on hidden camera that the Controller’s Office “can’t conduct” key financial audits.

Due to staffing cuts, the audits “are just not getting done,” and he claims there is “no statewide plan” on homelessness, and CA counties/cities are asking for $1 billion this year for homelessness.

In honor of @nickshirleyy , James O’Keefe visited California homeless shelters/non-profits in South Los Angeles: Abundant Blessing & Urban Alchemy. Both non-profits were accused of fraud. We went on the ground to visit these groups and discovered there were actually zero homeless people there.

Abundant Blessings Incorporated, a homeless shelter that claims its mission is to end homelessness by providing short- and long-term housing, received funding of $23 million. The executive director, Alexander Soofer, was arrested on charges of fraudulently obtaining the $23 million in public funds.

Urban Alchemy, another non-profit that claims to provide hygiene services and operate “safe sleep villages,” received over $60 million in government contracts, including more than $12 million through LAHSA since 2021.

Homeless individuals shared with our undercover journalists that they have gone to the shelters for blankets, socks, and toothpaste, but they are always out of items. These shelters receive millions of dollars a year, and nobody knows where the money is going.

Our team reached out personally to Bismarck Obando and the office of Malia Cohen for comment, but we received no response.

The City of Phoenix is full steam ahead to assure first aid is intentionally conflated with "medical care" that a licensed healthcare provider would only perform in a clinical environment. This is outrageous.

Please, everyone, fill-out their survey and remind them that first aid is an OSHA requirement; Nationally and Internationally recognized distinctly from "Clinical or Medical Care" - Restricting or denying the ability to treat open wounds on homeless and indigent will directly imperil public health and assure preventable disease transmission.
