Most Dolmen in the Netherlands can be found in the province of Drenthe ( a few dolmen are located in the province of Groningen). In the past people imagined the dolmen were the beds of giants. Nehalennia is the ancient goddess of the Northsea. Several times she vanished but she always returns so she can benefit and protect the Northsea nations. In the Netherlands pagans and heathens are rediscovering this ancient and graceful deity and she is worshipped once again. Nowadays there are 2 little Nehalennia temples, Her altarstones are displayed in museums, books are written about Her and songs are sung about Her.
