The Tribe of the Fox considers our deities to be both archetypes and realities. The Goddess Freya is a perfect archetype for Germanic women. She is skilled in magic, aristocratic, sexy in a classy way, wise, powerful, independent and more. It would be great if parents teach their daughters about Freya. She is a far better rolemodel than the women that girls see in mainstream media.
Yesterday the Tribe of the Fox posted a nice picture of Freya and spoke about what a good rolemodel she is for young Germanic women. That made me think about a video that Dirkje (also a good rolemodel😎) made a while ago, a video for her young pagan sisters and witches. Enjoy and share this important video if you like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ic94G6l8AiU

A message for young witches and pagan women
These days are a little bit exciting, there is a lot of fear and a lot is going on.
Ofcouse you decide how you want to live your life, regardless of everything you hear in the media.
But being a witch and a pagan woman, it is good to consider things and use…

A goddess i highly appreciate is Hel (also known as Hela) . She is the goddess who rules the Realm of the Death (also called Hel but also Helheim). Ever since the first time i visted Her Realm i felt totally at home with Her. I made a promise to visit Helheim 5 times a week during a period of 8 months and never regretted that decision. During that period Hela showed me the Underworld which gave me first hand knowledge about the afterlife. When i was in pain because of my autoimmune illness she helped me to relief some of the pain with her hands and gave me advice. Both Hel and my teacher Linda Wormhoudt gave me initiatory experiences and i am grateful for that. Now i am better at helping friends in matters of life and death. Hela is a kind goddess and we are all welcome in Her Realm.......and there is no escape from that😉
We got this beautiful pic from a reader, thank you.
The Tribe of the Fox loves those special places in nature where the energy is good. Slowly walking and talking to the trees and maybe communicate with naturespirits. In this video i take you to a 2.5 hectare tiny island. It is not known as a heathen or pagan place but to me it is a holy island. Lets go! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcYkJyEAjVI&t=1s

A holy island
Islands often have a very special energy and can be holy places. Our heathen or pagan ancestors knew this. Near my house there is a tiny little island where naturebeings find their home and where the energy is special. For most people this is just a little…

Divination was an important part of our ancestors spirituality and they used several different ways of divination. A well known methode was runereading, but there were other ways aswell such as observing the flight of birds. My friend the Urban Animist is a good runereader (both in Elder Futhark as in Anglo Saxon Futhorc) and a good cardreader. This is the Urban Animist his weekly Wodensday reading. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wmblo_gHRHY

Wodensday Reading!
This is an AMAZING reading today!!!! And a little news about things to come! I will still do great videos on Animism in Urban Areas and nature spirits, but I’m going to be doing way more readings too! This is a love of mine, I have the gift of sight and prophecy.…

Protection magick. Thor is the defender of our Folk, you should think of some kind of invocation to him as a protective deity. Maybe draw the Thurisaz rune on paper and carry it in your wallet or something.
Dagaz is the Dawn rune but it is said to be able to produce concealment or protective invisibility. Berkano is associated with Frigga (mother goddess) and it’s also supposed to have protective properties because it’s like enveloping you in a protective womb.
To make a bind rune you play around with drawing them over each other so they share some of the same lines and then you can set the intention and burn one to set it off into the ether and keep another with you as a talisman. You can use any other runes that call out to you. Stay safe and ride out the storm! - @OakwiseBecoming

A beautiful Dutch landscape, a nice day and the Tribe of the Fox talking about the different perceptions that tribal spirituality have in comparison with axial age religion when it comes to the ego. Nice🙂!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5gR66IVhRs

Heathens and pagans embrace your ego!
Is the ego a good thing or a bad thing for heathens, pagans and animists? Many religions have a negative view of the ego but is that a wise point of view?

Most Dolmen in the Netherlands can be found in the province of Drenthe ( a few dolmen are located in the province of Groningen). In the past people imagined the dolmen were the beds of giants. There were some wild theories going on 😊! Great that these monuments of our ancestors can still be visited in our own era
Have you ever heard of an old pagan book called 'Oera Linda'? It was found in the 19th century and described the history of the Frisians. I think the Oera Linda was a great practical joke however there are also people who are very into this book in 2020. You be the judge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlvdrs0dt0g

An old pagan book and a death freemason
Visiting the graveyard i found the grave of a 19th century poet named Francois Haverschmidt. Does he has something to do with a book, called the Oera Linda, a book about pagan or heathen Frisians that popped up in the 19th century? Lets see if we can solve…
Nehalennia is the ancient goddess of the Northsea. Several times she vanished but she always returns so she can benefit and protect the Northsea nations. In the Netherlands pagans and heathens are rediscovering this ancient and graceful deity and she is worshipped once again. Nowadays there are 2 little Nehalennia temples, Her altarstones are displayed in museums, books are written about Her and songs are sung about Her. This song is by the Dutch folkmetalband 'Heidevolk'. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBpDom4QWHE
