🤓 Grants Announcements: Jul/Aug Recipients
Gm Societooors, the Jul/Aug grants recipients have been announced and posted via GitHub Discussions! Please see therein for additional details about the project and the team.
Congratulations to the below teams on their new (and for some, continued) plan to better the TON ecosystem via open-source efforts:
- TON Factory team and their TON Stash product, wallet for devs (milestone 1)
- Open Mask builder and his efforts to build a comprehensive extension wallet (milestone 1)
- dBuilder (rebranded to Rift) and continued efforts to bridge python client with FunC (milestone 2)
- Tonana team and continued efforts to expand on connectors between TON and other ecosystems (milestone 2)
- TON mobile explorer and the continued efforts to enable additional features for a mobile friendly explorer user experience (milestone 2)
Note that teams who have previously received grants for milestone 1 are in active developments to get to milestone 2. As always, we appreciate the community's patience with announcements, updates, and responses to GitHub open questions. We are working hard to get back to you in a timely manner and actionable steps so that you are encouraged to keep building on TON. Please note that all rejection notification have been sent - if you have not yet heard from us, it is likely that we are still corresponding with you re: your application or the application did not include a contact information.
Also a friendly reminder that we have added a Support Ticket system whereby one can ask an open-question about how to best optimize new (or previously submitted) applications to maximize the chances to garnering a grant. In the coming weeks, we are looking forward to further presenting the team to the Society.

We mentioned, that this week will be the first offline Hack-a-TONx Prague. The team of TON enthusiasts behind Tonana DeFi Hub, which has developed products for the TON ecosystem and received a grant to build a crosschain bridge, is hosting an independent event.
Today we invite everyone to the first pre-hackathon online talk about building on TON. Even if you are not able to join the Hack-a-TONx Prague, the lecture would be quite useful.
Our guest for today will be Roman Krutovoy, he works as Head of onboarding on TON Blockchain. He is crazy about web3, games, and global economics.

Artur Stambultsian, frontend developer at @wallet will share his experience of creating TWAs. Telegram's new initiative makes it possible to significantly improve user interaction with bots. In addition to the documentation and SDK, provided by Telegram team, Artur will speak about the infrastructure that he has built with the team while working on @wallet.
Tools to greatly simplify the TWA are guaranteed.

Last, but not least lecture in the series of workshops during the Hack-a-TONx Prague preparation will focus on a template for a project that one may use for creating a TWA connected to TON.
The speaker for today is Shahar Yakir, jetton.live creator at Orbs. Shahar is a great technical expert of TON, he writes frontend, backend, and smart contracts.
Today on the stream Shahar will revolve around using the template and modifying the GitHub repo, that he has prepared for the community. It allows participants to fork it to add their own functionality, connect wallets and etc.
After the workshop one may do a basic operation against TON, f.e. transfer TON, work with Jettons and more 🙌
