😮 New season, new rules! Today’s major update speeds up gameplay and reduces matchmaking time.

Match format: now only 1 vs 1
Slot Machine: 4 bonus options instead of 3  
Mercenary Recruitment: +2 when holding 0 districts, +1 when holding 1 district  
Turn Order: Fighters enter battle based on district assignment order (unless affected by Stealth or Taunt)  
Ranking: you must win with a full rank-up bar to advance  
Balance changes:  

• CLOAK now grants Stealth, -5 HP, and +3 Damage

We’re keeping the pace — every update makes the game smoother. Here’s what’s new today:

1. Matchmaking — now more compact. 
You can freely browse the main menu while the game finds you an opponent.

2. Rank screen — more informative. 
See your previous, current, and next rank all at once for full context.

3. Animations — streamlined. 
When multiple identical perks trigger, you’ll see one quick animation instead of a long chain of repeats.

4. Battle skip — now supported. 
If you lose connection or the game restarts, you can skip the battle animation and jump straight to the result.

5. UI — more stable. 
Interface elements now display correctly across all screen resolutions.

Tactics are everything. The gameplay is now faster and sharper — time to rethink your strategy and climb higher.

1. Turn order visibility

You can now see the order in which fighters enter battle. Smart placement + the right gear = victory.

2. Slot machine changes:

> Rerolls are now available every round
> Bonus lock applies only to the current round

3. Improved navigation

The main menu now displays all active actions more clearly.
 
4. Taunt / Stealth — updated perk logic:

• TAUNT: Triggers on round start if the wearer is the first of his gang to fight for a district.

• STEALTH: Triggers on round start if the wearer is the last of his gang to fight for a district.

5. Bonus rebalance:

• BANDAGE — Tough Up 1; Combo: Heal 3
• DRAIN HACK — Lifesteal 1
• KICK BOOTS — Taunt: Tough Up 2; Stealth: Tough Up 1
• CLOAK — Taunt: +1 damage until round end; Stealth: +2 damage until round end
• ADAPT — Tough Down 1; Combo: Tough Up 2

On June 1st, a new ranked season begins in District Clash — and with it, a new era: reworked ranking system, fresh lootbox, and new mechanics.

 • Katana - Weapon; Taunt + Rush
 • Akimbo - You may equip 2 different weapons
 • Riot Shield - Weapon; Bodyguard

And these are just a few highlights. The new gear introduces
fresh mechanics like Blitz, Last Act, and more.

🔥 2 days left: District Clash ranked mode gets a Major Upgrade

Starting June 1 — the revamped ranked system goes live: 25 Ranks + Legend, with a brand new progression logic. End-of-season rewards depend on the highest rank achieved.

☕️ How the ranked system works

• Win: +1 star
• Win streak: +2 stars
• Loss: -1 star
• Loss on streak: streak reset

🐶 From Mercenary to Legend

Seasons start at Rank 25. Win with max stars — move up to the next rank with 1 star. Lose with 0 stars — drop down and start with max stars minus one. The first 5 ranks are a safe zone — losses don’t drop you down.

At Legend rank, stars are hidden but still tracked. Leaderboard position depends on hidden stars. If tied, win rate decides. Still tied? The earlier Legend entry wins.

💎 Season reset & rewards

Each new season resets rank by 15 levels. Rewards depend on the peak rank — starting from Rank 15, new lootboxes are added to the pool.
