FREEZE ONE LOGIN:
There are huge concerns with One Login which has quietly expanded across 200+ Govt functions
We call for an immediate freeze on One Login pending independent review by the National Audit Office - meaning no further rollout or expansion until that review is complete and safeguards are in place

A “social media ban for children” will ultimately mean ID checks for all of us before we can speak online.
Parents already have tools to protect their children. Children do not buy smartphones for themselves. Adults choose to provide devices and decide how they are used.
If a parent wants parental controls, they can enable them today.
Children need guidance, care, and sensible boundaries – not an internet redesigned around the assumption that every user must be a potential threat.
There is nothing safe about a society where ordinary people must be identified, monitored, and recorded simply to participate.

4 ways to protect kids online - without government interference🔒
1. Does every child need a device at all?
If you decide they do, a simple call & text phone may be enough. If internet access is needed, use smartphones with parental controls or monitored devices. Guidance is available from Protect Young Eyes.
2. Parental controls:
YouTube uses Family Link/YouTube Kids, Instagram has private teen accounts and Family Centre, TikTok uses Family Pairing, WhatsApp only offers privacy settings, and Facebook uses privacy settings plus Family Centre tools.
3. Parental controls (on devices):
Use Microsoft Family Safety on Windows, Screen Time on Apple devices, and Content & Privacy Restrictions on phones. Turn on Safe Search or use child‑friendly search engines like Kiddle.
4. Restrict incoming content:
Most home routers let you block adult or unsafe sites for every device by using parental, control settings or adding sites to a blocklist.

DIGITAL ID: Giving information voluntarily to a company is not the same as being required to hand it to the state.
Companies can't imprison you or control your access to society. Governments can.
That's what makes a government Digital ID system so dangerous.
Millions of people see the danger in Digital ID. If you’re one of them, take the Pledge.
A similar pledge helped stop Tony Blair’s ID card scheme in the 2000s - and was signed by more than 1 million people.

They said ID cards were inevitable under Tony Blair. But they weren't.
Expansion of state control usually depends on convincing the public that resistance is pointless.
If you're one of millions who oppose national Digital ID, please take the Pledge - a simple but serious commitment to refuse Digital ID and "government by app".
A similar pledge - signed over 1 million times - helped defeat Blair's ID card scheme in the 2000s.

DIGITAL ID PLEDGE:
"I don't want there to be a universal log in where the government can just 'switch you off'"
- Decentra Suze
You can change your bank, delete your social media accounts, and switch off your devices. But you can't opt out of the state.
A national Digital ID risks giving government powers over your life that no website or app has.
