1 Corinthians 3:12-15
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Good works are great for others, to help our testimony, to serve God, to receive eternal rewards. They donβt contribute towards salvation.

James 2 and Romans 4.
Itβs really not that complicated. Just read the context. This short video explains it well.

Is it βlimiting Godβ to say that miraculous gifts have ceased?
Letβs see, who could do miracles in the Bible? Jesus and the apostles, Elijah and Elisha after him. And finally, Moses, as well as Joshua with a miracle or two of his own.
Anyone else? Anyone between Adam and Moses? Anyone between Moses and Elijah? Even one person between Elijah and Jesus? 6,000 years of world history and only ~200 years where a select few people could do miracles?
What was the purpose of these special cases where miracles were performed? In each case it was for a specific purpose. With the disciples it was ββ¦the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs followingβ¦β (Mark 16:20). The word has been confirmed & established and the need/purpose for miracles ceased in the first century.
It is NOT βlimiting Godβ to acknowledge the truth that miraculous gifts have ceased. It is God limiting man as 1 Corinthians 13:8 states. Donβt be fooled by Pentecostal frauds that push new age occult mysticism labeled as βChristianityβ.

Yep. The Koran in Sura 2:87, 4:163, 3:3, 5:46, etc. say that the books of Moses, the Psalms, & the Gospel are all from God.
The Koran also says in 6:34, 6:115, 10:64, etc. that the word of God cannot be corrupted.
Islam is a self-refuting wicked cult.

β¦οΈHow important is prayer in your life? Do you prioritize it? ππ»
Colossians 4:12
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
Matthew 21:13
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.
Prayer should not be a last resort, but something we do continually. Speak to the Lord often, and give Him your concerns. He cares for you more than we can understand.

Over 300 Old Testament prophecies were perfectly fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Of course they werenβt fulfilled βby chanceβ but by Almighty God.
If we take just 8 of those prophecies, the chance of one man fulfilling all 8 is 1 in 10^17 (thatβs a 1 followed by 17 zeros).
If we take just 48 of those, the odds become 1 in 10^157.
As Dr. Don Stoner said, βAny man who rejects Christ as the Son of God is rejecting a fact, proved perhaps more absolutely than any other fact in the world.β

In John, the term "Israel" occurs a few times and always with the feeling of Israel as the people of God.
βͺοΈJesus is the King of Israel (1: 49).
βͺοΈNicodemus was a master of Israel (3: 10).
βͺοΈAs in the Synoptics, Jesus is hailed as the King of Israel when He enters Jerusalem (12: 13).
On the other hand, the term "the Jews" became a pejorative word for those who rejected Jesus. Be not afraid
John 12:42-43
42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Evolution posits that we are all essentially biochemical reactions, and slaves to naturalistic impulses.
Consider the following quotes by outspoken evolutionists:
Former Presbyterian (Calvinist), and later atheist Dr. Willaim Provine, "human free will is nonexistent."
Dr. Jerry Coyne, "nobody, including criminals, has a 'choiceβ in whether or not to do something, like mugging someone."
Funny that atheistic philosophy has so much in common with gnostic Calvinism. ππ»
John Calvin, "What we must prove is that single events are ordered by God and that every event comes from his intended will. Nothing happens by chance."
John Piper, "Has God predetermined every tiny detail in the universe, such as dust particles in the air and all of our besetting sins? Yes.β

γ°οΈ Yes, God is love γ°οΈ
But did you know that the word "love" isn't once mentioned in the book of Acts?
Some of the messages they preached included the following (look up reference for full verse):
πΉRepent of thy wickedness 8:22
πΉGod now commandeth all men to repent 17:30
πΉYe stiffnecked always resist the Holy Ghost 7:51
πΉYou denied the Holy One and killed the Prince of life. 3:14-15
πΉYou killed Jesus. 5:30
πΉYou judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life. 13:46
πΉThere is a day when God will judge the world in righteousness. 17:31
πΉThere is no other name whereby we must be saved. 4:12
The apostles CONFRONTED people in their sins.
They did not present sinners as innocent, misunderstood victims. No, they acknowledged them as rebels against Holy God, worthy of God's Wrath.
π The most loving thing you can do for someone is to warn them of where they are headed if they donβt believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.

Philippians 2:12-13
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
To work it out, does NOT mean to work FOR it. Salvation is a free gift.
