Typescript

Turns out I now have a requirement to quickly dive into Typescript (with React) from my very comfortable JS. So you might enjoy a bit of material on TS in the near future since this channel mainly reflects what I am going through at the moment in my lifeπŸ˜‰ .

Decided to start from https://learnxinyminutes.com/docs/typescript/ for a quick one.

Any material you can recommend on TS? Blogs, articles, sample projects? Please share in the group.

Apart from TS, in the near future, you might also see stuff on the following:

- React Native
- Redux / mobx
- UI/UX (specifically UXpin & Figma)
- GIT SCM
- JEST
- LESS/SASS
AR/VR

One of those fancy words among Big Data, AI, ML, microservices etc that we are likely to hear more about in the coming years.

Three things you need to quickly jump into AR/VR from web dev:

The first one is an AR lightweight library - basic stuff can be achieved in less than 10 lines.

Second, cool facetracking library. Examples here

The last one is to find yourself a nice source of articles, ideas, thoughts, inspiration within the area. I'm gonna share a nice tg channel in AR/VR, with some cool content. Talked to the owner and we thought that some of our audience might share an overlapping interest.

But yes, you guessed it, it's in Russian, so those of you who can freely read in Russian definitely have a look!

But so far the only usable effect that I like within neumorphism is in a calendar
One of those almost unnoticeable libraries that colors shadow based on the image.

That reminded me on how I styled my TV with raspberry pi.
Speaking of which, here is my personal recommendation on YouTube channels I watch on dev.

Disclaimer
None of those paid me to promote them, this is purely out of unconditional respect as they were and keep publishing high quality material for free. I treat it as open source that we deserve.

πŸ”₯Fireship - the guy started from Angular & Firebase, but went all the way to React, modern JS, Git etc. This one is a pleasure to watch even when you think you already mastered the topic.

πŸ”₯DesignCourse - my go to for UI/UX in general. The best part is unlike many of his colleagues, this man knows coding and can link it with design pretty well.

πŸ”₯vladilen - Russian dude, who is super practical on MERN, JS, TS, React, webpack etc. Long videos, but you feel the effect straight away.

πŸ”₯Ben Awad - no clue how he manages to deliver complex things in such a quick manner. Absolute must.

πŸ”₯Net Ninja - unbelievably relevant (for myself personally) stuff. He has a number of fully explained practical tutorials on Web dev, just look at his playlist, graphql, JS, Vue, d3 you name it.

Have more, but I shall stop there for now. I can confidently say, that when you think of paying for an online course, look at this guys above first. I have a feeling you ll want to keep your money (or maybe donate to them) .

Redux

I have seen 7 out of 10 emoyers looking for Redux experience when applying to JS/React related roles.

While it's a natural step in your learning process, it can sometimes be quite overwhelming.

This article makes it a bit easier.
