شرح خبر: زک ادواردز، محقق امنیتی، هنگام بررسی مرورگر حریم خصوصی DuckDuckGo متوجه چیز عجیبی شد. ادواردز در آزمایش‌های خود توانست به وضوح ثابت کند که ردیاب‌های گوگل یا فیس‌بوک مسدود شده‌اند، اما ردیاب‌های مایکروسافت می‌توانستند کار خود را بدون مانع انجام دهند!
ظاهرا این یک قرارداد بین داک‌داک‌گو و مایکروسافت بوده.
این اتفاق در حالی می‌افتد که داک‌داک‌گو بارها بر روی حریم خصوصی و مصدود کردن ردیاب‌ها (trackers) تاکید کرده است.
