CATL has made a new type of battery for commercial EVs that works extremely well in very cold weather.
❄️ In extreme cold (–20°C) → the battery still keeps 92% of its power
🧊 In even harsher cold (–40°C) → it still keeps 90% of its power
🔋 Even when fully frozen at –30°C, the battery can start charging immediately — no warming needed
🚛 A 45 kWh battery pack is designed for commercial vehicles like buses, trucks, and delivery vans
Normally, EV batteries:
- Lose a lot of power in winter
- Charge very slowly or not at all in freezing temperatures
This new sodium battery:
Works reliably in harsh winters.

WhatsApp Rolls Out “Strict Account Settings” 🔒
Enable via Settings → Privacy → Advanced → Strict account settings as it rolls out globally.💡
WhatsApp just launched a powerful one-tap security mode that locks your privacy to the highest level — blocking media from unknown contacts, hiding link previews, muting unfamiliar calls & more to protect against sophisticated cyber attacks. This is ideal for journalists, public figures & anyone at risk.

This 2026 looks so... dual 👀
As the new year goes by, we think it's now the right time to start giving you a good showcase of a bunch of features Google plans to implement in the next Android 17 update.
While the next major iteration of Google's OS - codenamed CinnamonBun - is still undergoing internal planning, it's safe to assess that the Mountain View tech-giant is working hard to improve Android's accessibility and overall UX.
So, here's two great changes that we could expect:
• Dual Shade: Remember when we first discussed this in May? Well, Google has made significant progress since then, fixing most of the functional and visual bugs it had.
As a side note, we must say they still managed to *fuck it up*. Foldables and tablet users will be forced to use the new dual-shade quick settings panel on their bigger screens, no way out, it's intentional.
• Divided network toggles: After YEARS of user complaints, Google finally listened to their fanbase and managed to implement an optional switch to finally divide the Wi-Fi and Mobile Data toggles. Yes, even we are surprised.
As always, let us know what you think about these upcoming changes down below!
