New government rule will impact WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, and other messaging platforms.

• Apps must verify that your account is linked to an active SIM
• If SIM is removed, changed, or inactive → auto logout
• Web/Desktop sessions will log out every 6 hours and require re-login via QR

Purpose: To reduce online scams, fake calls, and digital fraud using inactive or fake numbers.

Timeline:
90 days to start implementation
120 days for full compliance report to the government
