Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia rejects President's Trump request to dismiss his DC indictment.

Quote: "Any executive immunity that may have protected him while he served as President no longer protects him against this prosecution."

This will be headed to the Supreme Court. The DC case will not go to trial before the election.

Hard to predict such things, but we'll go for it:

We find it more likely than not that the Supreme Court does not rule on the immunity issue before the 2024 election. This will allow the Court to defer making a ruling on a novel question of first impression (Presidential immunity from criminal prosecution) that will have significant consequences. Should Trump be elected, he will have the power to pardon himself. Should he lose the election, the Court can make its ruling after that time. The Court isn't in a rush to decide this issue, and such a strategy will keep it from making an election-altering decision. The Court is sensitive to its public perception and generally doesn't want to insert itself into electoral matters.

Judge has ordered Terrence Bradley to testify to matters that don’t concern the attorney-client privilege. This comes after Bradley’s closed door meeting with the Judge.

At this time, it is unclear just how much Bradley will testify concerning the Willis-Wade relationship. But it could potentially be catastrophic for DA Willis and her former lover.

The testimony could occur as soon as tomorrow.

The assassination attempt was bound to happen, given the rhetoric from the other side: that Trump is an “existential threat,” that the GOP was turning into Hezbollah, that Trump is a fascist who will open up camps and never leave office.

Mind you, those allegations are coming from the liberal mainstream – the Hezbollah comment, for example, was published in The Washington Post. More recently, the Washington Post compared Trump to Hitler.

Say those things long enough, and your supporters will start to believe it. And if they believe it they might just act on it.
