Introducing Samsung Galaxy A32 Brick Edition
Reddit
A guy took his Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (costs ~150$) which has a 5000mAh battery and upgraded the battery capacity by X6 times i.e modified it into a 30,000mAh battery smartphone.
The smartphone can give a 1 week battery backup or more on a single charge easily. But it takes around 7 hours to charge full
He used Samsung 50e battery cells, which sell for around $5 and used 6 of those cells. The smartphone then weighs around 450g.
The mod also has 2x USB-A output ports for charging other devices, as well as inputs for USB-C, micro USB, and Lightning.
Also carrying batteries of size above than 27,000mAh is banned in flights

Huawei was tracking visitors at MWC 2023 with their ID cards
Source
During MWC, some visitors to Huawei's booth found electronic chips attached to their lanyards that look like they could be used for tracking.
While the ID cards were meant to be returned to Huawei back and small plastic containers were not meant to be taken apart, a few visitors did and found the chips inside.
It's speculated that Huawei may be using Beacon technology at its booth, which relies on low-power signals for tracking over distances of up to 70 meters
The back of the Huawei badge at MWC mentions the use of local-area radio systems that could be used for tracking.
The badge explains that RFID and Bluetooth technology is used to collect information about swipe time, real-time location, and residence time within the exhibition area. But Huawei spokesperson claimed that the pass is only used in the booth and is returned when visitors leave.

Apple to launch new iPhone 14 color in its Spring event
Source
On March 7th and 8th, Apple is hosting free in-person Spring event. They host it every year wherein a new color of 6 months earlier launched latest iPhone is announced.
This time, Yellow color of iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be announced. Maybe for iPhone 14 Pro, a new 'Gold' will be available.
To keep their iPhones in demand and maintain their value, Apple launches new colors every Spring. This allows them to re-release the same product in a fresh style without altering the price, satisfying customers and boosting sales.
Last March, Apple introduced a new Green color for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, and a new Alpine Green color for the iPhone 13 Pro models.
In April 2021, Apple made the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini available in Purple. Apple last offered a Yellow color option for the iPhone 11 in 2019 and the iPhone XR in 2018

Android 15βs dessert name is βVanilla Ice Creamβ
Source
Android has a long tradition of naming each of its major releases after desserts.
This changed with Android 10, which had the difficult letter of βQ,β and was ultimately given a simple numeral Android '10'.
Internally, Google has continued to refer to each release with a dessert name, including Android 10βs βQueenβs Cake.β
Upcoming Android 14 is named as 'Upside down Cake'
Judging by the 'commits' of the continuous testing framework (TradeFed) on the Android Open Source Project, the sweet name of Android 15 'V' will be 'Vanilla Ice Cream'.

Unknown ways that Oppo is killing OnePlus
Source
While it is known that Oppo has killed OnePlus in some ways, here are some other things that you might not know.
Region locking OnePlus 11 China models
OnePlus 11 devices brought from China to a different country will show a popup saying βYou are using a region-specific phone. Its calling capabilities are limited in your area. Please contact customer service for assistance.β
After digging into the app that generated the warning message, the long restricted region list was found which includes markets like India, Italy, Russia, Brazil and more. Only OnePlus support can remove this lock with a special 16-digit unlock code.
No more Bootloader Unlock
Oppo started restricting the bootloader unlock from the OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus Nord 2 with the 10 series not being unlockable with official methods. Fortunately Nord 2 users can roll back to OxygenOS 11 to unlock the bootloader, and there are some unofficial methods for the 10 series.
Pairing batteries to motherboard
OnePlus has decided to encrypt the batteries in the OnePlus Pad, which will only let OnePlus drive service centers change the battery, likely with a serial number check in the system that would prevent the tablet from working if the battery is replaced. It's clearly mentioned on the OnePlus website

iPhone Passcode or Android PIN can lead to steal credentials
Source
A security loophole has been discovered in iOS and Android phones that allows criminals to access users' accounts including the bank accounts and steal money without knowing their passwords, if PIN is used.
Once the thief changes the password, they can disable Find My iPhone, preventing victims from locating or erasing their phones remotely. This also enables the thief to resell the iPhone.
Thieves would target victims at bars, befriend them, and observe them unlocking their iPhones with the passcode. If they didn't catch the passcode, they might ask to take a photo and subtly turn off the phone before returning it.
Once the phone is restarted, a passcode is required to unlock it, so they end up stealing it and RIP users' account, data and privacy
An economist's iPhone 13 Pro Max was stolen, and thieves then exploited the device's passcode to change her Apple ID password and steal $10,000 from her bank account.
Similarly, on Android phones, changing your Google account password only requires a PIN. Google allows this because the request comes from a device that is recognized as yours, but there's no further verification beyond the PIN. The process prompts for the current password first, but the "forgot password" option allows the PIN to be used instead.
So, a stolen smartphone could result in losing access to your iCloud/Google account and other personal data if PIN is used
