SMS based 2FA for securing an account will now be a paid feature in Twitter

Twitter users who secure their accounts using 2FA will lose the extra layer of security after March 20 unless they change their Two-Factor Authentication method or pay for the Twitter Blue subscription which is 11$ per month if subscribed using mobile

Two-factor authentication allows people to protect their accounts even if someone has stolen their password.

So... Twitter will be less secure unless everyone pays Elon $8 a month? Delightful.

Also, if any guy account gets hacked on Twitter, Elon Musk will blame that guy saying that he did not pay Twitter 11$, so its not Twitter's security fault?

And what if it gets hacked even after paying for Twitter Blue? Oh then its users fault probably as others accounts are secured

The designer claims that "We made special attention to every detail and thus the authenticity of this render is close to 90%!"
It will be more clear when the official renders will be out

The smartphone will be having a leather back instead of glass and will pack 90W fast charging

Since the Mass Production of Xiaomi 13 Ultra will start next month, March so 13 Ultra will debut at the end of March or Beginning of April! No Chance for MWC 2023
But, Xiaomi might tease the smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event at Barcelona (27th Feb - 2nd March)

Meta (Facebook) is copying Twitter Blue checkmarks

Apple's App Tracking Transparency feature, which requires user permission for tracking, has significantly reduced ad revenues from free apps that rely on personalized ads.  Meta predicts a $10B ad revenue loss due to this change. As a result, Elon Musk's solution was to sell Twitter's blue check marks at $11/month , the same Meta is going to do

A developer has Reverse-Engineered Instagram’s source code to find that Meta is preparing to offer paid Instagram and Facebook verification badges. The code explicitly refers to a “paid blue badge” and a new subscription product.

First Meta copied Telegram like channels that will be added in Instagram & Facebook, now its copying Twitter Blue subscription

The Code mentions:
“IG_NME_PAID_BLUE_BADGE_IDV”
“FB_NME_PAID_BLUE_BADGE_IDV”
IDV= ID Verification

It has started appearing for some beta users & will be called "Meta Verified".It will be available to verify profiles only, not Pages.
Just like Twitter Blue, Meta Verified will offer additional features to its Subscribers.

Microsoft announced Bing Chatbot Limits

Users have reported that Bing Chatbot has been rude, angry etc.
Sydney has threatened users that it will expose users videos and pics like mms.
It even flirted with a user & asked him to end his marriage and not only that, to some users Bing Chatbot was telling that it will show Furry Porn to users

Microsoft, in its defence, has said that the more you chat with the AI chatbot, can confuse the underlying chat model in the new Bing.
So Microsoft limited Bing chatbot and users can only ask a maximum of 5 questions per topic and 50 messages with chatbot in total per day.

“Our data has shown that the vast majority of people find the answers they’re looking for within 5 turns and that only around 1% of chat conversations have 50+ messages,” says the Bing team in a blog post.
If users hit the 5-per-session limit, Bing will prompt them to start a new topic to avoid long back-and-forth chat sessions.

Instagram is already Offering Longer video upload, Edit Title / Description, Reel Bonus, Monetisation Options etc. for Creators anyways unlike Twitter

Meta Verified will start at $12/month on the web OR $15 on iOS & is available only in Australian and New Zealand first

Pay 15$/month and trade government ID proof and still you will be shown ads
