Twitter went down on Wednesday, 8th Feb. Here's Why
A massive Twitter outage on Wednesday, 8th Feb, took place which left users unable to tweet or retweet, and being faced with the error message: "You are over the daily limit for sending tweets." The limit is 2,400 tweets a day, but users were still presented with the error if they hadn't tweeted at all.
The reason behind it was an employee accidentally deleted the data, and there was nobody left on the team responsible to fix it because Elon Musk fired the Whole Team which worked on that service except that one dude

ChatGPT coming to Opera Browser soon
Opera’s adding a ChatGPT-powered tool named as 'Shorten' to its sidebar that generates brief summaries of webpages and articles.
From there, a sidebar with ChatGPT will pop out from the left, which will then generate a neat, bulleted summary of the article or webpage you’re looking at. It will be launching in its browsers soon
Opera’s also working on other AI-powered features that “augment” the browsing experience and plans on adding “popular AI-generated content services to the sidebar,” although it’s not yet clear what this could entail.

Windows 10 Unshipped Series Part 1 - Start Menu
Source
The channel will be posting looks at Windows 10 features & ideas b/w 2015-2020 that were internally conceptualized but never released.
Pin in Place:
It was designed to simplify the Start menu customization process. It uses Fluent Design 'reveal' effects and machine learning to suggest items to pin to the Start menu.
Another aspect was the "MixView" interface inspired from Live Tile Design of Windows Lumia Phone that was enabled when using 3D Touch on the unreleased Lumia McLaren. In MixView, clicking the + button would reveal additional tiles in an exploded view, allowing users to choose and pin items to Start with reduced mouse travel.
Start Places:
Microsoft once planned to make the Start menu an area for different "places" of Windows, including My People, Documents, and Timeline, accessible via the hamburger menu. The feature was tested with early implementation of My People in Start, which showed a list of contacts, with most recently accessed contacts at the top. Microsoft even considered allowing users to drag "places" from the hamburger menu back onto the Taskbar for quicker access.
Other planned changes included an accented hamburger menu and a "My Stuff" area that listed the most frequently accessed folders from File Explorer.

Some more Info/Leaks about Google Tensor G3
Source
Google Tensor G3 is codenamed as "Zuma" and will be called "GS 301". It will power Google Pixel 8 series including Pixel 8 Ultra
CPU configuration:
1 x Cortex X3 (Instead of 2 x Cortex X cores)
4 x Cortex A720 or A715
4 x A510
It's a 4+4+1 configuration. Theoretically, 21% improvement is there compared to the previous generation 1+3+4 settings as recommended by ARM
GPU:
Mali G715 GPU aka "Mali Turse MP8"
Mali G715 instead of immortalis-715 GPU, since power consumption of Immortals is very high
Tensor G3 will be the First SoC to be built on 3nm Samsung GAA architecture. Samsung was just selling rebranded Exynos to Google and was not helping tensor team. But now Tensor G3 is the first product of real collaboration between Samsung and Google
Basically, Google asked Exynos team to help with tensor 3 since 2022 "not a rumour". So this explains why Exynos 2300 delayed to Q3 or even cancelled.
Google already received early sample around 10 august,22 for G3 and more samples would have came in November,22 & February,23.
Till April,23 Tensor G3 would be final and by July,23 First batch of Samsung First 3nm chip will be delivered
Tensor 3 ML (AI) performance will be very strong with a 400-600% boost over Tensor 2 and it should not be underestimated this time if it is built on 3nm process instead of Samsung's 4nm LPP (probability exist)

Twitter is just showing everyone all of Elon’s tweets now
Twitter’s “For You” is full of tweets and replies to tweets from Elon Musk.
The same is true for some accounts that don’t even follow Elon Musk.
Ironically, This comes just days after Musk complained that his tweets weren’t getting enough views — and even fired an engineer over it.
My Twitter is also showing first 8-10 tweets of Elon Musk only

Geekbench 6 launched with "Material You" support on Android
The new GeekBench version adds new tests:
• “Background Blur” (for video calls)
• “Photo Filters”
• “Object Detection” for AI
• New tests for tagging metadata on photos and text processing
There are other changes under the hood such as:
• Many existing tests have been updated to better reflect modern workloads
• Tests now better take advantage of the GPU instead of just CPU
• Multicore scores have also been revamped, with the new scale measuring how cores share workloads in “true to life” scenarios.
• More accurate and comparable results when dealing with CPU architectures that mix “big” and “little” cores.
The interface got revamped with a semi Material You look, but it doesn't adapt to the colors of your system, and is blue like the GeekBench logo. (it also looks ugly and unfinished, look at the status bar 🤮)
GeekBench is now free for non-commercial uses, and the Pro version now includes command-line automation, offline result management, and a stand-alone version and to celebrate the 6.0 launch licenses are discounted by 20%
You can download it from Play Store
