Google is in Code Red 🔴 because rival chatbot ChatGPT has shaken Google out of its routine, with the founders (Larry Page and Sergey Brin) who left 3yrs ago have been called in for help in the A.I fight
Google now intends to unveil more than 20 new products including a demo of its chatbot according to a slide presentation seen by NYTimes.
Some of the new products may include:
• Image Generation Studio: It "creates and edits images"
• AI Test Kitchen: v3 for testing prototypes
• Shopping Try-on: a "YouTube green screen feature to create backgrounds"
• Wallpaper maker for Pixels smartphones
• Maya: It will visualize 3D shoes
• Tool to summarize videos by making a new one
• Image creation technology for developers
• MakerSuite: Help businesses make AI prototypes
Some of these will be announced at Google I/O in May, 2023
In May, Google also expects to announce a tool to make it easier to build apps for Android smartphones:
• Colab + Android Studio: This will generate, complete and fix code
• PaLM-Coder 2: to generate and complete the code
The demo for the chatbot search says Google will prioritize “getting facts right, ensuring safety and getting rid of misinformation,”.
Google earlier said it’s avoided launching certain AI products because of the potential “reputational damage." but now this will mean they are behind the times.

Tecno showcased their Slidable + Foldable Phantom Vision V concept phone
Tecno Phantom Vision V concept folds to nearly regular smartphone size, but if needed can expand to match a mid-size tablet.
Tecno has added a small display on the back, which it calls a reverse-side back cover. It will display notifications, reminders, and an always-on display-styled clock.
The display is made up of 11 functional layers, giving it both flexibility and durability while the casing is made of "aerospace-grade" titanium making it very durable.
• This concept phone can also expand its inner display further by rolling or sliding it out to a full 10.1 inches.
• The phone does not have any hole-punch or cutout on any display.
• The Phantom Vision V, in total, has 3 displays.

Xiaomi's 1st EV car spotted while testing

It's that reported Xiaomi is testing several models of their first EV across different cities/regions.
Recently, 2 prototypes models of the car has been spotted for testing even in Extreme cold temperatures in Inner Mongolia and it was supervised by Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder and Chairman on the ground. The car has also been seen in the Xiaomi Science and Technology Park, China.
The EV is codenamed/called as Xiaomi MS11.
The leaker claims the car is running a special version of MIUI for cars.
The 2 prototypes show that the EV will have a High end and a Low end model.
High-end model:
• 800V voltage platform
• Ningde era Kirin CATL battery
• LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) technology to measure the objects distances relative to the self-driving vehicle's position to create a 3D replica of the environment.
Low-end model:
• 400V voltage platform
• BYD's lithium iron phosphate blade battery
• NO LiDAR
Also Xiaomi already has Intelligent Manufacturing Factory named "Black Lamp Factory" which is unmanned and fully operated by AI and Robotics and is responsible for manufacturing of High-End Products.

TikTok employees can decide which videos go viral

According to several current and former employees of TikTok and its parent company, ByteDance, the social media platform engages in a practice known as "heating" in order to artificially inflate the view count of certain videos.
TikTok uses it to artificially boost the view count of certain videos, benefitting some influencers and brands that the company has sought business relationships with, at the expense of others. It suggests that the videos on the "For You" page may not be there because the algorithm thinks users will like them, but rather because TikTok wants a particular brand or creator to get more views. Sources reveal that employees have been known to heat their personal contacts, spouses or own accounts, leading to the account receiving millions of views.
About 1-2% of daily total video views are coming from heated videos, which gives concerns if the Chinese government can influence ByteDance into pushing certain narratives on their platform.
TikTok has denied these allegations, stating that it promotes some videos to help diversify the content experience and introduce celebrities and emerging creators to the TikTok community, but it only makes up 0.002% of videos in For You feeds.

Just Pay Rs. 200 for Rs. 1,000 Zomato order
A Zomato user (Vinay Sati, entrepreneur) revealed that a delivery boy disclosed a strategy to him to scam the Zomato but still enjoy its benefits
Sati said that he ordered burgers from Zomato, and paid for the order online. When the delivery boy came with the order after 30-40mins he advised him to use COD (Cash On Delivery) next time onwards. He said "You just give me ₹200-300, or ₹1,000 and enjoy the food”.
The delivery person would show his employer about him failing to receive the order even though in reality he would deliver the item.
Sati disclosed this scam as he was an entrepreneur instead of keeping this trick a secret, and tagged Deepinder Goyal(Zomato CEO) telling about the whole scenario, to which the CEO replied that he is already aware of this scam.
The Sati questioned him "And if even after knowing all this, you are not able to solve it So what are your IIM guys doing?"

India's Ministers tested the BharOS
The Education Minister and the Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & IT tested the 'BharOS', an "indigenous" mobile operating system developed by IIT Madras.
The minister stated that there will be challenges and opposition to the success of the system, and they will not stop working on it even for 1 day
Features of BharOS: HERE
From the looks of BharOS it resembles kanged CalyxOS (A custom rom based on AOSP). It even has the same launcher, keyboard and default apps which CalyxOS ships
CalyxOS and GrapheneOS both are officially supported only for Google Pixel devices, so the BharOS is also only compatible with Google Pixels yet. The Ministers in the video above are using a Google Pixel 6a to test it
That's because Google Pixels offer functionality to lock bootloader, unlike other devices. OnePlus used to offer it too but Oppo removed functionality of locking bootloader in OnePlus devices.

It might not just be a themed edition, but an actual Coca Cola Phone , because even a twitter account exists of the ColaPhone.
Launching in the 1st Quarter of 2023 in India and Globally.
I just hope it does not go like the Snapdragon Insider 1500$ smartphone which was made in cooperation with ASUS and it was stuck at 6 months older security patch
