The CEO of OpenAI, has posted a survey asking people about the pricing of Pro and non Pro of ChatGPT as currently it's in a testing phase for researchers.
We can expect one of these decisions being done in the future:
• Current ChatGPT is free with a Pro version being available
• ChatGPT is free with set amount of tokens for querys that you can purchase (like DALL-E)
• ChatGPT will have multiple paid tiers (like personal and professional)
Greg Brockman says that ChatGPT Professional is geared towards professional use with:
• Always available (no blackout windows)
• Fast responses from ChatGPT (i.e. no throttling)
• As many messages as you need (at least 2X regular daily limit)
