AG Paxton must IMMEDIATELY URGE ALL counties using the COUNTYWIDE POLLING PLACE PROGRAM (CWPPP) to ORDER IN-PRECINCT VOTING or COMBINED PRECINCT VOTING (multiple precincts in a given polling location) in time for the November 2024 General Election, in order to restore AUDITABILITY, BALLOT ANONYMITY, and ACCESS TO PUBLIC RECORDS.

AG Paxton MUST recommend that the recent modifications of the Texas Election Code made by by SB 924 be CHALLENGED THROUGH NONCOMPLIANCE.

SB 924 REMOVED the RIGHTS of LARGE COUNTIES to COMBINE PRECINCT POLLING LOCATIONS, effectively TRAPPING many large counties in the CWPPP! The Law is unconstitutional and prevents large counties from complying with BOTH state and federal statutes mandating auditability, ballot secrecy and Public Information Access.

SB 924 is the Election Integrity version of a bill banning 5 Shot Revolvers for counties with populations over 1.2M. We would NOT COMPLY and wait to be sued. The bill is totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL and WHOLLY UNENFORCIBLE.
