BALLOT BREACH is what I call the "game" we play where volunteers, who are willing to show their ballot, come forward to give us their name so we can determine if their ballot secrecy has been breached.

Heider, thoughts on your redaction of ballots?

Heider, is this an admission that the ballots aren't as secret as they are supposed to be per state and federal statute?

All counties who accepted HAVA funds are BOUND to the terms of HAVA, and a secret ballot IS A KEY TERM.

So the SOS approved certain counties for HAVA funds, but then didn't advise the counties to adhere to HAVA terms of Ballot Secrecy?

Once again, the SOS office is the SOURCE of the chaos, corruption, and legal grey areas that we cannot seem to pull ourselves out of.

That's why they are the target for the MALADMINISTRATION. I know Heider is an easy target as well.

But you BIND the SOS to the will of a DULY ELECTED Legislature, and watch the issues clear up.

The TX Secretary of State has admitted to the violation of ballot secrecy, and instead of fixing it they have chosen to redact the info. There's a reason for that, but it has to be reversed immediately.

Informing people to contact wernickfortexas.com to find out if their ballot had been compromised due to countywide voting.

Dear Dallas City Council Members,

I urge you to stand with the citizens of Dallas and vote NO on Ranked Choice Voting (RCV).

RCV is how ESTABLISHMENT options maintain their power.

RCV dilutes the TRUE WILL of the citizens.

RCV leads to weak representation of the majority of the people.

RCV ushers in a new Era of career politicians as incumbents have an advantage over grassroots candidates, and even if the grassroots took the initial majority, the incumbent gets back in in the automatic runoff.

RCV has proven confusing to voters, causes ballot fatigue, and is particularly discouraging to first time or infrequent voters. RCV is dependent on expensive electronic machines, is impossible to audit efficiently, and further erodes voter’s trust . Where implemented , RCV has proven to delay results, trigger costly legal action, and suppress voter turnout .

Our elections should be SIMPLE and SECURE, not overly complicated and impossible to audit.

Our current system of voting with straight majority or plurality runoffs is a tried and true method that voters understand. There is no legitimate reason to incorporate RCV into the city’s charter. It is unwanted, and undesirable.
