โก๏ธUnleashing Local AI: Empowering Your Privacy
In this conversation with Mike Adams, we're diving into the transformative power of the new Brighteon AI model. This 12-billion-parameter AI isn't just a static toolโit evolves over time, learning from tens of millions of science papers to expand its knowledge base. What's incredible is that you can run this AI locally on your device without expensive hardware, ensuring privacy and control over your data. Plus, with the ability to download and share the model, you hold the power of independent AI in your hands.

AI and Its Psychological Impacts
In a recent webinar, I got into how AI can have real psychological effects. Over-reliance on AI can lead to what we call cognitive offloading, where people stop thinking critically and start leaning on AI for everything. It can even become a substitute for human connection, which is pretty concerning when you think about the emotional attachment some people form with AI. Have you seen this before??

Stepping Off Their Playing Field
On The Higherside Chats we had a chat about how quickly we got pulled into the smartphone era and how quickly consent was given away. The big takeaway? The more we stay on their platforms, the more of our lives they consume. Itโs a reminder that these surveillance systems rely on our engagement. If we just step off their playing fieldโswitch to a different operating system, use privacy-respecting toolsโwe find out itโs not that hard to reclaim a bit of freedom. Theyโre not as smart as they want you to think.

To all my vapers out there.
A groundbreaking study from researchers at UC Davis, published in ACS Central Science, analyzed aerosols from popular disposable e-cigarettes. They found that certain devices emitted lead, nickel, and chromium at concentrations higher than traditional tobacco smoke. Shockingly, one device released more lead in a single day of use than 20 packs of cigarettes.[1]
Lead exposure, even at low levels, can impair neurological development, especially in adolescents. Nickel and chromium are known carcinogens linked to respiratory ailments and allergic reactions. The culprit? The degradation of metal coils and the use of lead-containing alloys in internal components. The lack of standardized quality control in these disposable products makes their toxicity not just likelyโbut inevitable.
But the danger doesn't end there. Many of these metals also fall into a category called "metalloestrogens"โmetallic compounds that can mimic estrogen in the body and bind to hormone receptors. According to GreenMedInfo's previous coverage, these metalloestrogens may fuel estrogen-sensitive cancers such as breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer.[4] This hormonal mimicry is especially concerning given the already endocrine-disrupting properties of other vape constituents

I've never been big on New Year's Resolutions (why wait for an arbitrary gregorian deadline?) - but in the spirit of positive change I've decided this year one of the things I'm going to work on is conservation, or generally being less wasteful.
This is simple stuff like not purchasing too much fruit and letting it go bad, or not letting the sink run forever while I'm brushing my teeth (which I'm super guilty of).
I have some internal resistance to this because of the whole carbon-neutral gaslighting agenda, who's organizations lecture regular people on using less while turning a blind eye to the massive waste in military/industry - the main source of the problem.
Still, even though now I live in a water-rich area, I'm preparing for the day where I am truly responsible for my own water through a well or a rainwater catchment system. There's no reason to waste and in a precarious situation (maybe one we'll see in the future), it could mean the difference between a watered garden or hunger.
I also think twice before leaning heavily into Cloud AI, a UC Riverside study indicated that a 100 word ChatGPT response may use up to 500mL of water in its inference, this includes cooling the computers and cooling the infrastructure that generates the power.
Local Air-cooled AI is the way.
I dove deeper on conservation issues and the dangers of data centers on my recent AI webinar:
https://learn.abovephone.com/course/empowerment-with-ethical-local-and-private-ai/
Check it out and share!
Setting this intention, we can take responsibility for the planet every day and do more with less resources (either by choice or necessity) - rather than wasting our precious natural resources.
How about you - What are your positive shifts for this year?

Surveillance Slips into Everyday Devices
In my recent conversation with Peak Prosperity, we talked about how surveillance isnโt always obvious anymore. Itโs slipping into everyday devicesโthings like Wi-Fi routers that can detect movement inside your home just by analyzing signal changes.
This kind of tech is being framed as โsmartโ or โconvenient,โ but it raises real questions about consent and control. Once these features are normalized, most people wonโt even realize theyโre being monitored.
๐ค Where do you think the line should be when it comes to surveillance inside the home?

Our friend Aaron Day is running for U.S Senate - not to legislate for change, but to make a point about the digital surveillance grid approaching us. He's also rallying to free privacy warriors like the Samourai Wallet and Tornado Cash developers.
First interview just posted: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaigns/congressional/4413383/aaron-day-spoiler-could-sink-senate-gop-new-hampshire/
His mission, should he choose to run, remains the same from his Senate campaign a decade ago: undermine the GOP nominee to get his point across. But his purpose for doing so has changed drastically from his past desire to reshape the stateโs Republican Party.
โI still naively thought in 2016 that I could affect things politically, and I actually thought that there was a fundamental difference between the two parties and that there was the potential to influence the Republican Party from a liberty perspective,โ Day said. โI donโt believe that at all anymore.โ
โHe made the point that you canโt improve unless you understand and accept the reality of the current situation. We are living in a massive state of denial,โ Day said. โAnd the massive state of denial that weโre in isโฆ this technocratic surveillance state, which is growing unchecked under Trump.โ
Learn more about Aaron's campaign: https://day2026.com/
โ
Politics won't accomplish any real change, but using politics as a platform to share the truth is a worthy stategy.
This is exactly what our good friend Derrick Broze did back in 2023 for his hometown of Houston, successfully cementing the idea to open up City Council to discuss issues raised by citizens. This idea was copied by candidates and generally accepted, however the next mayor of Houston neutered the idea by putting discussion behind a private committee.
https://www.derrickbroze.com/broze-for-mayor-2023-is-official/
What do you think? Can anything good come from political campaigns โ is it a way to reach people? Or is it a waste of the freedom movement's precious energy?

Help Us Take Freedom Cells to the Next Level with Qortal on January 13th!
While we are working hard to produce The People's Reset 2026 - Only 3 Weeks Away! - we are also working on taking the Freedom Cell Network to the next level!
By now you may have heard that The Freedom Cell Network is partnering with Qortal to build a decentralized, distributed version of The Freedom Cell Network on Qortal.
However, in order to build a truly private, decentralized app for the Freedom Cell Network we need 200 members to join the Freedom Cell group on Qortal!
Once we hit that milestone the Qortal team will begin building out the FC app!
That's why Derrick Broze and John Bush are hosting the 14th International FC Conference Call to help onboard as many FC members from around the world as possible so we can get the app built ASAP!
We will be meeting on Tuesday the 13th at 7 pm US Central.
Sign up for the call via Crowdcast or watch without registering via the official Freedom Cell Odysee channel!
If you would like to know more about Qortal and this partnership with the FCN, watch this short discusion between Derrick and Jason Crowe, founder of Qortal!
