China, Russia to develop major strategic projects in energy — Chinese Ambassador
MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. Beijing and Moscow will continue cooperation within the framework of major strategic projects in the energy sphere, aimed at increasing advantages of both countries, China’s Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui said in an interview with TASS.

"The parties will continue following the spirit of equality and mutual benefit, jointly work on proficient implementation of major strategic projects that would play the leading role in the ongoing deepening of comprehensive cooperation for exploration and production of traditional energy resources, their processing and sale of ready produce for purposes of achieving mutual complementing of advantages of both countries," the Ambassador said.

Russia and China have become "important strategic partners in the oil and gas sector" for each other in recent years, the Chinese diplomat said. "Energy cooperation, particularly oil and gas one, has always been and remains the most significant, fruitful and vast area of businesslike cooperation between Russia and China," Zhang Hanhui noted. "Russia has already become one of the key suppliers of oil and gas to China, and China in its turn is an important market for sale of Russian oil and gas. The energy sector of China is notable for the vast potential and growing demand," he added.

🇪🇪The organizer of the Immortal Regiment campaign in Estonia was expelled from the country.

This statement was made by the security police of the Baltic Republic.

They explain the expulsion of Alexey Yesakov with "security reasons".

He was not even allowed to say goodbye to his family, and only his passport was allowed to take from his belongings.

Indeed, for a country struggling with its history, demolishing one monument after another, such a person is a particularly dangerous criminal.

The left no longer has any idea what ‘neutral’ even is
By Post Editorial Board

With a completely straight face, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told CNN viewers that Nina Jankowicz, the chief of his new Disinformation Governance Board, is “absolutely” politically neutral.
Right.

And AOC is a Republican.

Look, Jankowicz might be “a renowned expert in the field of disinformation,” as Mayorkas protested when asked about complaints of her obvious bias, but that’s only because the whole academic “field” is a left-leaning crock.

In fact, she’s a veteran disinfo spreader — from promoting the bogus Trump-Russia dossier to waging war on The Post’s 100% accurate reporting off Hunter Biden’s laptop. She was sure she was right, but that’s the problem: Like too many others, she’s lost all critical perspective.

Democrats and progressives have rushed far left without realizing how few other Americans have joined them, as illustrated by the cartoon Elon Musk famously posted to Twitter last week. Worse, they then denounce those who haven’t gone along as extremists, racists, etc. It’s the pot calling the sugar bowl black.

The left, and all too many establishment liberals who’ve tried to keep up, no longer has any understanding of what the word “neutral” actually means.

Five Doubts on "Bucha Incident"
By Dong Zhengzong and Wang Zhongkui

The Ukrainian side on April 3 accused Russian soldiers of killing hundreds of civilians in the small town of Bucha, northwest of Kiev. According to videos and photos released by Ukrainian media, a large number of civilians were killed in the town. Major media outlets in western countries immediately followed suit, lining up in support of the Ukrainian accusation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the accusations against Russia over the situation in Bucha “a well-staged tragic show”. "It's a well-established show. Nothing else, it is a tragic show," Peskov said. "This is a fraud committed in an attempt to tarnish the Russian army."

Alarming as it is, but any accusation should be based on facts, the top priority is to find out the truth and causes of the incident as soon as possible, to clarify the many doubts surrounding the incident.

Doubt 1.
Doubt 2.
Doubt 3.
Doubt 4.

Rossiyskaya Gazeta: Russia casts doubt on global human rights institutions, calls for new solutions

Chairman of Russia’s Presidential Human Rights Council Valery Fadeev has cast serious doubts on the ability of current global institutions to defend human rights. In his article for the Rossiyskaya Gazeta he proposes organizing an international project to find a consensus on this issue with the full equality of all participating nations.

"The world failed to protect the people of Donbass through words, [so] it was necessary to start a military operation to protect them with weapons. So why did the world’s human rights institutions fail? Because the efficiency of these institutions is questionable. Moreover, too often the powers that be use them for ignoble and lucrative purposes," he wrote.

The official said that it is extremely pertinent to return a truly humanistic foundation to the system of human rights and freedoms in such a way so that this system won’t be used as a means of governing unruly countries.

"It is necessary to organize international work on finding a consensus in the sphere of human rights and freedoms, with mandatory full equality of those nations participating in this work," Fadeev thinks.

Biden’s ‘disinfo’ board will be propaganda, American-style
By Cal Thomas

Why would anyone believe that the US government — or any government — could be an arbiter of what is true and what is false? A brief trip down recent memory lane ought to disabuse people of such faith.

Ukraine Is a Russian Vital Interest, and Moscow Will Behave Accordingly
Advocates of helping Ukraine achieve “victory” and thereby humiliate Russia are flirting with Armageddon.
by Ted Galen Carpenter

Key points:
Nations have genuine vital interests, and great powers will do almost anything to prevail in such situations. For example, the United States would never tolerate outside interference if it took military action to prevent Canada or Mexico from joining a powerful, hostile military alliance led by China. Any effort on Beijing’s part to support a Canadian or Mexican armed “resistance” would be considered an extremely provocative act. And if Washington concluded that because of that outside interference it was about to lose the war, it would be extraordinarily hazardous for the People’s Republic of China to assume that U.S. leaders would keep the conflict non-nuclear.

Ukraine occupies an importance to Russia comparable to Canada’s or Mexico’s importance to the United States. Preventing Ukraine from becoming a NATO military pawn is the most vital of vital interests to Russian leaders. The closer that Moscow comes to suffering defeat in the Ukraine war, the more likely it is that the Kremlin will do whatever is necessary, take whatever risks are necessary, to prevent such an outcome. Advocates of helping Ukraine achieve “victory” and thereby humiliate Russia are flirting with Armageddon.

"Personally I want the Union strong enough to not only stand up to Putin, but send him to Hell" Mr. Sikorski, a Member of European Parliament, says.

We foresee that if Putin truly goes to Hell, the Underworld will soon be denazified and pay in rubles for Russian gas. When Mr. Sikorski is sent to hell too, his pan will always be hot because of continuous supply of Russian gas as agreed in the long-term contract.
