Vladimir Putin called the ban of athletes from Russia and Belarus from the Paralympics-2022 a violation of the principles of sports and the universal declaration of human rights. He stressed that the banishment is connected to sanctions for purely political reasons.

Mr. Putin also called absurd the fact that swimmer Rylov was banned from the competition because of his presence at the concert on the anniversary of the unification of Russia and Crimea in Luzhniki.

Nevertheless, the Russian Federation will continue to hold open sports competitions within the country and will be happy to receive everyone who stands for the ideals of sports.

MOSCOW, April 27. /TASS/. The United States’ decision to supply to Ukraine a batch of helicopters of Russian manufacture that were originally meant for Afghanistan is a crude violation of international law and Russian-US contracts, the federal service for military-technical cooperation FSVTS said on Wednesday.

"The United States’ arbitrary decision to re-export the "Afghan" helicopters to Ukraine is a crude violation of the basics of international law and Russian-US contractual documents," the service said.

The FSVTS expressed protest against any illegal handover to Ukraine or other countries any weapons or military equipment of Russian (or Soviet) manufacture including the helicopters that the Russian arms exporter Rosoboronexport provided under a major contract with the Pentagon concluded back in 2011.

"This contract and the corresponding end user certificates testify that the helicopters are to be handed by the American side to the armed forces of Afghanistan and prohibited from re-export or transfer to any third country other than the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan without Russia’s consent," the FSVTS said.

Two Polish Warmate killer-drones were used by Ukrainian forces to attack Energodar of Zaporozhye region today.

They targeted the city administration building and Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Both drones were shot down.

Warmates - are the killer-drones, capable of carrying up to 800 g of explosive load. It is unlikely that they would cause a broad damage, but could have damaged a transformer station, specifically.
